Good info Makikiboy, just a small correction. MSS crap odds are up to 20x, not 100x, unless it's changed since May.

I guess that depends on your definition of hot. I will just refrain from describing what most of those bead girls outside of La Bayou and Mermaids look like. It ain't pretty.

lol, I thought they were trannies from the other side of the street. Had to walk up close to double check and I was still unsure. (I have no issue with trannies incase my opinion offends someone)

I'm glad someone liked it lol.

Northbound SDX stops at Mandalay Bay, MGM, Ballys-Paris and Wynn.

Southbound SDX stops at Fashion show mall, Bellagio, Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. With a frequency of 14 minutes.

My trip last month my wife and I only used the buses. The savings was quite noticeable. We only spent $60 on transportation during the course of a week.

Here's a PDF with all times and stops for SDX and the deuce.

There are some very seedy areas of Vegas so I can't blame you there lol.

I'm just trying to give him all the information I have to give. He like everyone else is welcome to make his own assertions. To each his own, not everyone agrees with me all the time.

That day that they closed off the street during first Friday was not planned. They did it because the crowd grew out of control and it became a safety concern for Metro. There has been a few occasions where Metro has to do that.

    Did you catch these articles?

Were all entitled to an opinion and I respect the fact that you disagree with me.

Awe man! Have a heart lol.
I guess my standards are lower than average o_O

ernestoc33, Much thanks for this. It's exactly what I needed. I'm trying to cut out the expense of renting a car every trip and you don't even want me to get started on my taxi driver rants.

    Best Regards,
    Lolly

In these downtown best threads I always say the samething-love MSS.

Went their 5 times during our 10 day trip that ended last week.

Had lunch at the Triple 7- had the fish and chips. Portion was so big could not finish it. Triple 7 Never disappoints.

Dealers are very friendly and the place has the feel of a local card game to me.

Awesome! I'm glad it will help you. You can also buy passes in advance from the website and have them mailed to your home so you can have them on hand when you get there.

Oh! that is very nice, I'll do that, thank you again for posting the info. I'm in the process of trying to learn the public transit system ( and I'm a hardheaded) so I find it very valuable.

    Best Regards.

sorry, you are correct with the 20x odds. but then I never got to more than 20x odds anyway. with a $5 pass line bet on a hot table I got it up to $100 odds, most I ever bet for odds. but then I had higher place bets.

actually, didn't Horseshoe offer 100x odds? or was it no limit? I forget. those were many decades ago, I thought that their claim to fame was no limit or something.

Years back when the Binion family had it it was 1$ minimum 100x odds. And they had THEbest sarcastic dealers anywhere. The zingers that would fly around the tables were CLASSIC! I LOVED playing there. Too bad Becky ran it into the ground.

Yep, The Horseshoe used to be THE place to gamble, at least downtown, and in my opinion it was one of the top places to play in all of LV. Jack did a good job after Benny, but Becky, to her everlasting shame, ruined not only a family dynasty but also a great destination in LV......

The strip and downtown express bus can be caught at Paris or Wynn and is perfectly fine to get downtown in my opinion. Takes 30 mins, compared to the 15-20 a cab will take at 10% of the cost.

Not to mention Sandy and Rick! If it weren't for those greed bags he would probably still be alive and running the joint.

Last two times I was there, before the Landry card, we paid like 25/30 per night for an upgrade for rush tower deluxe to a junior end suite in the rush tower. Cheaper that way than booking the room in the first instance. Last time I was there in April, the manager upgraded me to an awesome room that sits in the middle of the tower with NO noise at all from the street. :peace: It was a very nice room with a huge master bath, double sinks and a walk-in closet, which I loved cuz I brought a chair in there. I never knew these room types existed but its probable more than a junior suite upgrade but you can try. It had a great view of the pool, high up. These rooms are not shown on their website, I don't think. Don't forget about the red sushi happy hour mon. Through fri. 4-6.
