I am heading to Vegas for the week of 4th of July. What are the best deals in Vegas as far as restaurants go? We are taking a buddy mine there for his Bachelor party and we want to ball on a budget, with food always seeming to cost a pretty penny what cheap/good restaurants and buffets would you recommend? Is there any way to get free buffets from pit bosses? If you are up big or down big, any chance they comp you a buffet? What are the best places to try this?

    Thanks!

If you have a car, I think the M Resort offers one of the best deals for free buffets. Run $300 through the machines on slots and get a free lunch buffet. $450 through on slots will get you dinner during the week. The buffet is excellent and comes with free beer and wine. $700 through on the weekend will get you a free seafood buffet (you keep the points).

The M Resort is really nice - has great slots, vp and table games. They do have a shuttle that leaves from the Fashion Show Mall, but it doesn't run that often.

Is this just for new card signups? Or ongoing for cardholders?

For everyone, must have a card, obviously.

Various places such as South Point and South Coast sometimes have play and eat buffets as well, have to check their websites as it varies. Not really sure about the quality...but M is definitely a must if you can get out there.

Check with Wynn too. 750 points gets you two free buffets with new card sign up, may also win yourself one on their wheel at sign up, might also qualify for a comp to the buffet as well. Three of us went there for dinner one night, turned around for breakfast the next morning, all free.
