On our February Vegas trip I hope to hit 2500 or 5000 points playing HL VP. I am thinking $5 or $10 single line or some denomination on multi line which will give me points quickly. Last year I made Diamond in two days playing mostly $5 JOB in Bossier City.

    So two questions.

    1) Best CET Vegas location for HL VP? I normally do better at Rio but this trip we switched to PH for the free Britney Spears tickets so looking to play between PH and Harrahs. Will probably go back to Rio if nothing else works. Any suggetions?

    2) For multi line, what is the best denomination and number of lines to play to survive? Never played much multi line until recently.

    Thanks in advance.

For points purposes keep in mind they've changed the rate on the fullpay machines in Vegas. They now take $25 coin-in per point instead of $10 coin-in like you had last year. So high-limit VP at CET in Vegas pretty much blows now for those purposes.

Oh right, I remember seeing that in another thread. Really makes it more difficult than last year. Do you think it is the same for multi line machines?

    No Free Play

So I checked all the CET properties in VPFree2 and it looks like any single line machine over 99% ( 9/6 JOB and 8/5 BP) are $25 in per 1 point.

There weren't many multi line machines listed so I don't know if it is the same for them.

I guess if I am going after points, it might be best to play the 98% machines at $10 / point rather than 99% at $25 / point. I seem to do better at bar tops and lower payout machines anyway.
