What are your favorite beer bars in Las Vegas? What makes them special or different than others in the city? I'm compiling a list of the very best, and so far I've decided the following should be included:
    • Public House
    • Banger's
    • Aces & Ales
    • Five50

    What else would you add?

777 Brew Pub at MSS, downtown.

    1. They make several types of beer right there, and there are always some that I like.

    2. There is a sampler of about 5 small glasses of beer.

    3. Their food is yummy! And it is economical.

    4. I have never been in there where people were misbehaving or obnoxious . Happy place.

    5. There are multiple TVs with sports.

Probably a place I should have checked out last trip while the g/f was driving the rental car. I really appreciate comped craft beer though. And speaking of such things, the 32 degree bar at M Resort has 96 Taps that are comped with play. Drawback of course is it's off-strip.

7/5 Bonus and 9/5 DDB both with progressive for quarters.

9/6 DDB and 98.91% Deuces for dollars.

    http://www.themresort.com/dining/32draftmenu.html

Click a few pages to see the "default" beer list. Not all of them are always available.

And my go to is the Quad because they are crazy enough to comp Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA on the strip. The games aren't as good (7/5 Triple Bonus Plus, 6/5 Bonus, 8/5 DDB), but hell, play slowly. They've never gave me trouble with good tipping. Next door at O'Sheas has Lagunitas IPA comped while playing.

I'm an IPA addict though. YMMV.

I wish the pub at Monte Carlo still brewed their own, probably not a big deal anymore with the selection available but I always liked going there to try some of their own brews.

I've been to them all and Money Plays on Flamingo is the best craft bar. Plus there is a great spot next door for cheap Mexican food which they deliver over to the bar. Aces and Ales is pretty good too.

Freakin' Frog, over 1,000 beers. Great whiskey selection too (over 1,000). A unique place if you want to get away from the casinos.

Main Street Station (Boars Head) and Ellis Island (main bar, casino floor) are my two favorite beer bars, based on the quality of VP and their beer offerings.

Atomic Liquors is my favorite non casino bar. They serve a wide variety on tap and bottled, including the hard to find and 100 point rated Goose Island Bourbon County Stout.

I agree with Viva, Atomic does have an eclectic beer selection and they do make some interesting cocktails using beer.

Not that I recommend a special trip but if you are near Fremont East, Park has a pretty wide selection of beer but I think they got too cute. First, they serve it in mason jar style glasses and the taps are not labeled so you have to use the beer list.

Sounds like the best on-strip options are probably Pub at Monte Carlo and Public House at Venetian? Is that a fair assumption?

I would add PUB to that list of options.
