I might as well be the first to start hyping the Big Bertha machine at the D that is kind of a Mini-me Lion's Share. It's a rare slot, made by Universal (Japan I think), and the progressive has been pinned at $65,000 for as long as I can remember, including for many years while it was parked outside the elevators when the D was Fitzgerald's.

    That's my next target.

Trivia - you can see one of these in Leaving Las Vegas when they are playing in a casino and kiss up against one.

Pinned at $65k? It doesn't grow as folks keep playing? If it's not growing sounds like a winner for the casino.

Depends on the actual jackpot odds as sometimes progressives get dumped into machines. But if it's been this way for a few years, I hope it's a quarter unit.

I guess we all need to start hitting the $10 lion machine, at the entrance to the HL room at MGM. The first time I was looking for the actual Lions Share, I played this one by mistake. It has a long ways to go to reach Lions Share progressive level.

I'm not a slot player so NOOOOOO. I only played the Lion's share as it was fun to talk about and all the people that play it. After it hit. I'm done with it. It was really pretty boring to play. And the Hand pay sure took too long.

No, it doesn't grow. Jimmy Poon tells me it is because of the old technology in it. A 16 bit unsigned counter would only be able to count up to $65,000 and change.

Even better, this funky big ole machine takes three dollars per play, takes tokens, and pays out in tokens.

I usually play the wheel of fortune machines. the .25 cent machine starts at $300k and on average gets hit every other month. There is also a $1 and a $5 WOF machine. Lately the .25 machines have been pretty tight IMHO, lots of times I don't even get a spin when I put in $10 or $20. My last trip in June I was lucky, my first .25 WOF machine I got about 10 spins when I put in $10. I made about $200 so it was a good start. The rest of the trip I only got 1 or 2 spins at the most.
