I understand that the Bellagio Queen is in the main tower and the Resort Queen is in the spa tower but can anyone tell me what other differences they are when you are not in a fountainview.

They're pretty much identical; both are standard hotel rooms. The biggest issue for me, besides the view, is that the spa tower is kind of a hike off the main casino floor, while the main tower is centrally located and much more convenient.

Probably similar unless you're paying for a fountain view; you'll likely be in the back facing the mountains, or possibly north/south along the strip if you can snag the west wing of the main tower. If you pay extra (or get lucky at check-in), you can either get a true fountain view in the main tower, or a partial view from the east-facing rooms of the Spa Tower.
