So my last trip to Vegas a couple weeks ago got cut significantly short by some real-life stuff (which is also why I have not posted much for the past couple weeks) and I was worried that my Bellagio host might cut back on my comps for my upcoming January trip because I'm sure my ADT got dinged by my less than usual play at Aria this month.

So I decided to wait until after my annual black friday trip to GoldStrike tunica before contacting my Bellagio host (hoping my ADT might be improved; I estimate I got rated around $500 to $600 a hand for 14 hours of play over two days at GS). So I called my Bellagio host tonight and boy did he come through! He asked about the real life stuff that cut my last trip short and when I told him about my January plan to visit with friends, he immediately hooked me up with a two bedroom penthouse suite for four nights and bumped up my credit line by about 40%. So that was pretty sweet. Guess I just wanted to share that quick story about the excellent service I get at Bellagio. And if anyone has any thoughts or experiences to share about the penthouse suites, please share! I am going to go look for pictures of it online now

    Penthouse at B are great.

One BIG question. Is that a lakeview, or not? Big, big difference.

Don't know. Obviously the lake view is always preferable. But I will be happy regardless

Call and specifically ask him about the round, center rooms lakeview -- their name escapes me this second. They are the best they have apart from a Villa. You should qualify. Tell him you want one with access outside. Only every other one has it. You will not be dissappointed.

I think that is the grand lakeview suite. I'm getting the penthouse suite, which is a different layout

The only Penthouses that have a lakeview are the ones with 1 king bed. If it's just you then it works fine. But if you're traveling with a group and need the layout with 2 king beds or 1 king and 2 queens or the one with a connector, you cannot get a lakeview.

I've stayed in all the layouts. Sure, the lakeview one is great, but certainly not a necessity if you're traveling with a group.

That being said, the Penthouses are awesome. Enjoy your stay.

The Bellagio host I deal with (Kerry) is really solid, though I do not get there often. As far as your real life issue hurting your last visit, and smart host should go to bat for a player in a situation such as this. Real strong players are getting harder and harder to find and the hosts know it. Glad to hear it worked out. Have a great stay.

I think that's what happened here. We talked a little about it, so he understood why my last trip got cut short (and wrecked my ADT for that trip). Even though I have read on here and heard about hosts overlooking one trip where the ADT is low if you have a lengthy play history at the property, I still had never experienced it and did not know what to expect. So I was pleasently surprised

Last March at the Bellagio. Suite, lake view, 2 bedrooms kings, 2,5 bath, view to different directions, Paris, Ceasars, Cosmo. Great room.

No idea if it's the penthouse, but it's big enough for 2 !

Great to hear of hosts respecting their players play. I've stayed in a Penthouse and a Cypress (they are the ones in the center of the B below the Grand Lakeviews and 1br's only and only 8 floors of them). Regardless of where you end up facing you will be well put.
I've been at Aria SS the last few MGM visits but ended up playing alot at the B. Old habits don't go away.
    Hope you do well.

yes, they are called Cypress - the 1br, and the 2 br are the grandlakeviews. They are great. The pics from the guy above from Amsterdam are from a 2br grandlv. THey are round and offer wonderful views. Far better than a PH which i've also stayed in.

Thanks. Ever since my loss in September, I have been killing it again. So that probably means I am due to get crushed. But hey, if I get crushed, at least I can then go get drunk in a penthouse suite, lol

I stay in Lakeview Penthouses = 2 King Bed and 1 King 2 Queens (double bed?) all the time.

If you meant to say suites instead of Penthouse then I am not sure on all of the viewing options of those.

The only "Penthouse" I haven't landed yet is the supposed 1King / 2 Queen with another 2 Queen connector for our February trip. I can't tell you if that one is Lakeview or not.

My host told me the 1king 2queen penthouses do not have strip views, which I assumed meant lakeview as well. Looking back at the email I was mistaken as you can get a 2king penthouse with a strip view and lakeview presumably.
