I am going to the millionaire Tournament at the Paris 11/13 to 16. Instead of staying at Paris. I was wanting to stay either at Bellagio or V/P in basic room.
I have stayed at V/P many times. How do the rooms compare? I can get either comped just wanted advice.
    Thanks

If you've never played in MGM properties, you can't get it comped. If you have, then you should have offers that let you know if you can get it comped or not.

I think it comes down to quality vs. size. Both rooms are nice. Both rooms are big. But the rooms at V/P are significantly larger than those at Bellagio (probably half again as large). And the rooms at Bellagio are quite a bit nicer, IMO (much higher quality of materials used). Though, I will say I’m not 100% sold on the styling direction Bellagio went when designing these rooms.

If it were me, I’d go with Bellagio due to the potential fountain view and much better casino. Plus you’ll be a lot closer to Paris.

Just make sure you get a renovated room at Bellagio. They might all be done by now. But when I was there this summer, they tried to stick me in an old room. Very dated, huge armoire with a TV from the Carter administration…and almost NOTHING in the room worked (drapes, phones, alarm clock…it was a joke).

Mike - OP indicated he can get it comped at either place.

As to what I would do? V/P rooms are nicer, but staying at Bellagio would be my choice due to location, playing, dining, etc. Also, you are right across the street from Paris. If your play was concentrated at Mlife vs V/P, CET, etc you might be able to get better than a basic room on the next trip.

If you're just talking rooms, V/P is better IMO. But overall property, Bellagio blows V/P away. Think you made the right choice

I vote this. The rooms at V/P are big enough to park a Buick in but Bellagio has so much more to offer IMO.
