Ok, I am leaning towards Mirage but just wanted to see if anyone has a different opinion.

Need two weeknights at end of April. Have TWO free nights at both places with $100 FREEPLAY at both.

I have stayed at both. I like good food, definitely not McDonalds and Denny's. I play slots, craps and BJ. I do casino hop so I won't spend all of my time at either hotel.

I am not into clubs and I will have already seen Absinthe earlier in my trip.

Thanks for any and all replies.

Unless there is a special reason why you are favouring Mirage, it's Bellagio all the way.

    Better for -

    Rooms
    Dining
    Gambling, especially BJ
    Better property
    Access to other Mlife properties
    Etc
    Etc

Based on your criteria, there seems absolutely no reason to choose Mirage over Bellagio.

Since you have stayed at both nobody can make a better decision for you than yourself. Go with Mirage if that what you are leaning towards just make sure to take into consideration to what the best location is for you and what you are planning on doing.

I agree with Tubbs. I like the rooms better, the property better, the casino better, the food options better, and the location better - at Bellagio.

Thank you again for your replies. I guess my main reason for "preferring" Mirage is because I will be SOLO. I always think of Bellagio being more for couples. I guess I'm over-thinking this thing. Usually when I am solo, I tend to not stay at upper level resorts.

    Thanks again.

I've stayed at Bellagio solo many times, and it is better than Mirage in every category I can think of.

I absolutely agree! Surprised it's even a "decision point". Not to disparage Mirage, it's just not Bellagio.

I have stayed at both when travelling solo, and I would definitely go with Bellagio, especially if you like to casino hop, and the rooms and casino are sooooo much nicer.

Mirage. Crowd is more laid back.

I would go Bellagio if I had a choice also. I've done Mirage solo and had a great time, but Bellagio just has a better ambiance. Craps is awesome at Bellagio also.

Bellagio >>> Mirage in every way. Rooms are nicer. Restaurants are better. Buffet is better. Bars are better. Better ventilation if you are a nonsmoker. Poker room is better.

If you want to spend a lot of time at Wynncore or Venetian then Mirage would make sense.

    just my opinion

    The B

Do you like Harrahs properties? If so, I would stay at the B cause you are close to PH and Cosmo which at your age may be an attraction. I know that both have the late 20 early 30 year olds but the wife and I in our later 50's like the vibe and music at both places. Aria as well I think they have a tram from Bellagio that goes to Aria.
If you don't like the harrahs properties I would stay at Mirage. That gets you somewhat close to the Wynn and Venetian. Don't really like the vibe at either of those two but they do play to more of the mid age folks.

For the 2 you mentioned at staying if I was not "casino hopping" it would be the Bellagio for me.

    good luck

To change the subject slightly, do you have a comparable offer at Aria versus what you are getting from the Bellagio?

Bellagio is where all the action is, single or not. Mirage not so much IMO

Another vote for Bellagio. Bars are nicer to unwind at IMO.

While it seems that Bellagio would be the better choice, this is one criteria that is important for the solo traveler.

Sometimes Bellagio is overwhelmed with crowds, 80% of them are not even staying there, so if you like laid back, Mirage is a consideration.

Or maybe start your trip at Bellagio for a couple of nights then finish off the trip at the Mirage.
