I just started playing about a month ago. I have around 35,000 reward points. Going to Vegas in September. I play daily so my reward points should be somewhat higher by September. We dont need a hotel room or show tickets. My wife also just started playing. She has 28,000 reward points. We are staying downtown for 3 nights then moving to the strip for 4 nights. Any suggestions on where to use our points? Can we use our smart phones to request a comp while in Vegas?

You have to reserve your rewards prior to leaving for vegas, when you arrive in vegas you are severly limited. If you're not into shows or hotel rooms then your options are really food, clubs or things like the shark tank in Mandalay Bay.

Because you don't know how many LPs you will end up with I think its too early to worry about it just yet.

Right now instead of necessarily thinking about what you can get, I would try playing as much as you possibly can for the rest of June and July and then around the start of August take a look at what you have for LP between you and then start looking at rewards because as it is now you might have only 50,000 LPs each by then, or you might have 150,000 LPs each - its really pretty much up in the air until you earn them.

If you have plenty of MyVegas FB friends and you collect your strip at least twice a day I suspect you will get some nice rewards. One suggestion is try a buffet or two you wouldn't otherwise. I know you mentioned no shows, but I'll tell about my first trip using MyVegas rewards. Between my wife and I we had two Zumanity tickets, two $25 credits to Nine Fine Irishmen, and two buffet passes at Aria. We were able to combine the $25 credits towards our dinner at NFI before we saw Zumanity.

In regards to using your smart phone to redeem rewards while in Vegas, I read on VMB you will have very limited rewards available. MyVegas doesn't want the locals to take advantage of this so if your IP address is local to Vegas they limit what you can get.

As you "build your strip" ie: the casinos ( collecting the V's) you will get extra chips for each property you complete.

I have found I get more red's than LP's, I'm only at level 106, but after a period of time, which seems to change, you can go back and re-collect chips from each property. I see a lot of people do it twice a day. I'm kind of silly and pop in multiple times a day to collect.

When you open the game and get past the pop-ups, look in the upper left hand corner of the screen. You should see 'rewards', 'games, and a downward pointing triangle. Click on the triangle, then click 'Visit my strip". You should see the resorts you've built, if you built any yet, plus a few that come standard. The propertied will have a little 'collect' button over them, click to get red chips or sometimes gold chips. After a certain amount of time passed 2-12 hours (?), each property has it's own time setting, you can collect again.

    What level are you on?
