Hi there my fellow VMBers. It's been a while since I've been back to the board! Had a ton of stuff going on since our last trip. We've been visiting our local casinos in OK throughout the year but they can never replace Vegas!

We're planning to take our teens (14 and 16) with us this March for spring break. It's been an on again / off again trip - we were going to have my parents come along with us but then my mom got laid off. Dad still wants to go but mom is worried about the $ situation. I'm still hoping they will decide to join us.

Planning to fill our days with sightseeing, shopping, eating and shows...and our late nights to gaming for my husband and I. That's the great thing about having teenagers now - they are more than happy to keep themselves occupied by connecting themselves to various electronic devices in the room while we enjoy some fun in the casino during the late night hours!

Got 4 nights comped at Flamingo and I'm tossing around the idea of taking MLife up on one of their comp offers just to take advantage of the included freeplay and resort credit. I have to figure out if paying the resort fee for those 2 nights is worth using the comp and checking in just for the hell of it while physically staying at CET.

Our spring break is the second week in March this year (March 9) - really early - so I'm hoping we can avoid most of the college break crowds and get out before MM. We'll be driving in from the Dallas area so this should be interesting!

Hubby won a trip through his job to Puerto Vallarta (did I spell that right) for the last week of Feb so we'll be on the beach for a week - back home a week - and then in Vegas! That about uses up all of my vacation days for the year so I we have to make them both trips to remember!

Looking forward to getting back in the groove here on VMB. Hope you all have been well and had a very happy holiday!

The 2015 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament games start Tuesday March 17 with the "First 4" play-in games. Many of us arrive in Las Vegas on Tuesday or Wednesday in preparation for Thursday. The main tournament kicks off about 9 am, Thursday, March 19 - with filled Sports Books and throngs of people (some of us decades past our college years) wearing their college colors and cheering on their team.
