I keep getting offers for free trips to Beau Rivage.

As a craps player anybody have an insight as to what the casino is like?

We go often. Nothing else really to do in Biloxi but gamble. The Beau is the nicest down there and the dice table are pretty good to us. You should have a good time.

I've never seen anything lower than $10 min. Nice place.

I quit going only because the hotel went smoke free. Yeah, I'm lazy.

they have 6 craps tables, all of which are usually open on weekends. but I'll tell you that every serious dice player I know that goes there will only play the darkside. those tables are so cold, it's not even funny, but if you play the don'ts you can clean up. from my personal experience, I agree. I don't play craps much, but I've played a handful of times and the table has always been ice cold.

    Bo,
If you go down there, don't expect a Vegas lifestyle. My buddy went down there last year and said he wished he had just gone to vegas instead. Also, from what I've read comps and EC's are accumulated at a much lower rate than vegas because its considered a local casino.

The express comps are less than vegas, but when I have been there the hosts are pretty good about helping you out with room charges. They do use your express comps first.

But you can rent a car and it is a 90 minute drive to New Orleans. They also have very good seafood restaurants. I really enjoy my trips to Biloxi and take them whenever we get comped flight offers 2 or 3 times a year. It is a 10 hour drive for me..

The Beau has high table limits, but it is nice. The Hard Rock is next door and is exceedingly cool. The cust service at the HR is much better than the Beau. Stay away from the IP, lots of riff-raff there, IMHO.

    Thanks! All good info.

How about the rest of the casinos near by? Anything nice?

Beau is by far the nicest one of the Biloxi casinos... I don't consider anything else there comparable. My wife likes Hard Rock, but I don't think it's in the same league.

Free trips that include the airfare? And you get to take someone?

Do it. They are fantastic. Check your bags at Bergstrom. Get on the plane. Get off the plane in Gulfport and directly get on a bus that takes 15 minutes to get you to the Beau. They hand you your key as you walk into the bus lobby. You barely have to stop. Gamble for a bit. Go to your room and your luggage is there.
Going home, reverse the process. It is so easy.
The Beau has friendly dealers. The blackjack conditions have gotten worse over the years though. The craps tables are, as mentioned, always at $10, I think 3,4,5x odds.
As mentioned, The Beau is the best of the bunch. But the second best is 200 yards away, The Hard Rock.
    Do it.

The odds at the Beau craps tables are 10x.

    The casinos I like are
    1: Beau
2: IP -very nice casino and I believe craps tables start at $5 and are 20x odds
3: Hard Rock-- $5 craps and short walk from Beau.
4: Grand $5 craps as well

The have a good public transit system. they have a casino hopper which runs a
continuous loop to the casinos. I believe it is $1.25 trip or $5 for all day pass.

Yes, free airfare. I'm not sure if I can take someone, but I'd guess that it would be a 'no'.

Yes, they always have been. Read your offer again.
Of course they might have changed it up. Seems like if it's only for one, they would give you an option to purchase a spot for a companion.

I never looked that carefully. Guess if I go I'll have to take someone :)
