I received an invite to this and from what I understand you basically go to one of the ballrooms and pick out a few things.

My question is does anyone know how to quantify the points in the invite?

For example for every 100k points = $100/$200/$500?

Or if not converted to $$, what would a piece of luggage that retailed for $500 cost in points?

Also, are the points just tier credit points or calculated a different way?

    TIA

those ballroom shopping things are lame. like you said, they use points, not actual dollars and everything is totally inflated. plus the selection is very limited. I wouldn't go just for that event unless you were already planning on being there.

as far as shopping at the Beau I only go to the real shopping events where they give you gift certificates for all the regular stores. at least then you can pick out something nice from the jewelry store.

Thanks for the info. I agree about the December trip, picked up a few nice things with the certificates.
