Of course the article focuses on a BS ticket write-up. Why doesn't that cop go after the millions of idiots nationwide that text and drive? Many drivers that I pay "extra attention" to because they are driving impaired are mostly looking down at their damn cell phones when I drive by them!

That's pretty tough. I've seen some crazy things that were worthy of a fine. Reading a book while driving is one of them.

Putting on Chapstick while stopped at a red light is strict. May not be the full story.

Years ago, Shrewsbury, MA at a stoplight the guy next to me was shaving his head. Towel around his neck, all lathered up! Too bad it wasn't a straight razor.

A good attorney will cost more than $200 to help her. I drink and drive all the time in Las Vegas. Water. I'm thinking now.

I'll be driving around Vegas in about 16 hours so I guess I'll keep the lip balm in my bag.

I pass a woman most morning commutes who is eating a bowl of cereal. Milk, spoon, bowl, the whole shebang while on the interstate doing 70.

+ 1 I'm thinking she had an attitude or something else. Most of the dumb ass moves drivers make are the result of cell phones either texting or to the ear talking. That's what they should be targeting in every state not just Nevada.

Also in Vegas, they send out unmarked spotter cars. When they see someone on a cell phone, they radio to the marked car and they pull them over and ticket.

I think they might be taking things a bit too far.

Dude, phone that in. It's criminal. That cereal is going to be completely soggy by the time she hits the onramp.

I kind of agree.. what about changing the radio station or what if I have an old car w/o power windows?

Side note, do they still make cars without power windows?

Pretty much the case anywhere you go these days. Hell, you can go to a bar, have a few drinks, then decide you're too impaired to drive and opt to sleep it off in the car with the keys in your pocket, only to be arrested for DWI.

I was thinking the same exact thing. Just brake check her and watch in your rearview as she spills everything all over the dashboard and freaks out.

Considering I've had parts of 3 of my power windows replaced, I sorta wished my Pontiac Grand Am did. Good news that was one of the weakest parts of the car. I don't order anything through a drive thru. *knocks on wood*
