Last week, for some inexplicable reason, Ms. Gecko received three free nights at any Boyd/Coast property Aug. 1 – Nov. 3 on BConnected. We're used to getting that offer on our Sapphire card anniversaries (mine's the end of October and hers is the end January), but it looks like they moved her anniversary date ahead five months. The on-line offer didn't say much more than here's 3 free nights, but a week later, a snail mail card confirmed it was for her Sapphire anniversary. Our card dates haven't changed in years and we don't have a clue what's going on. We're guessing she won't receive her usual anniversary offer in January; while I'm wondering if I'll get mine in October. Anyone else experience the same?

I'm confused by this, but it doesn't take much to confuse me :confused2:. What you're talking about ~ is it different than the monthly offers?

Sorry if my post wasn't clearer; allow me to try again. In addition to the "regular" monthly offers we receive on BConnected, every year around our player card anniversary dates, we've each received an additional "3 free nights at any Boyd/Coast property, including weekends" just for being Sapphire. As in the past, the offer's valid for 3 months, and we've always put them to good use.

Ms. Gecko's card anniversary has always been the end of January, yet she received her Sapphire Anniversary offer last week – a half year early, and her card is now valid through 7/31/2014 instead of 1/31/2014 printed on her card. In fact, the mailer asks her to visit the BConnected desk to pick up her new card having the new date. In other words, her card date changed from January to July. We're just curious if anyone else has experienced a date change.

Thanks, Turtleman, for explaining it to me.

    Offer

We both get that offer year round. Some times we get offered extras like free meals or show tickets. But having that standing room offer is nice to have.

We get the monthly mailers for 3 nights, etc., but we are fairly new Sapphires. So apparently we haven't gotten any "anniversary" offers yet. Am I correct in thinking that an anniversary offer will come in addition to the usual monthly offers?

We have been Sapphire for several years and never did receive the anniversary offers. The Op mentioned Boyd/Station casinos so had assumed that it did not apply to down town Boyd Casinos. May be some one can clarify.

Earned Sapphire twice downtown (Fremont once, California the second time) and never received the offer. I did not earn during consecutive years (2011 & 2013) so perhaps that is the issue. Points dropped off and dropped me back to Ruby (still have over 20K points) since my last trip.
