    My Trip Report

Title means, Bingo, Birthday and Big Wins(not).

    The Players, me(birthday girl) S, daughter and D, son-in-law.

I left western Colorado on July 3rd, of course had to fly east to Denver before I could fly west to LV. Had 2 United passes as I had upgraded my Mileage Plus Visa to the Explorer Card. Also got free 1st check bag free and priority boarding. The United Club in Denver was real nice as I had a 3 hour wait. I had used flyer miles for my flight.

First two nights were at the Suncoast, first night free second night July 4th was 39.00. I really like the Suncoast casino, has everything a senior citizen could want. There shuttle picked me up at the airport promptly at 1:00 pm.
I played Bingo about six times only winning once and had to split 6 ways for a whopping $6.00. Played PaiGow Poker, Blackjack and slots.

First night had my favoited Lemon Chicken Chinese dinner at the Sienna Cafe, paid for with gift card from S. Next day I had the buffet with a 50% off couponn from the LVA. Breakfast was donuts and juice at the early Bingo session. Had the 8:00 am shuttle take me back to the airport where I was picking up a car. Left Suncoast with about the same amount of money I left with.

Picked up car at Alamo kisok got a full size for 6 days for $92.50 including all takes and fees. Got a bright red Impala with about 6,000 miles on it. Has a nice big trunk. S and D had arrived at 7:00 am on July 5th so I preceded to Ceaser's to join them for one night. They had a comp. I had a Roman tower room they were in the Palace Tower. Over the course of several months my room changed from $130.00 to $92.50. I tried the $20.00 trick at check in with an explanation that I needed to be near my kids and that it was my birthday in a couple of days. Worked liked a charm, in fact I got a better room than the kids. Had the PRemimum room complete with bidet, double door shower, jaccuzi tub.

We went over to Bill's for breakfast at the Victorian Room. Service was bad food was okay. Server never came back to offer more coffee or see if we need anything. We casino hopped to Flamingo, Harrahs, Casino Royale, Mirage and back to Caeser's. We had an early dinner at the Flamingo at Carlos and Charlie's, good food, good service, and good atmosphere.

We did a McDonald's breakfast and put a little more money into slots before retrieving the car and heading downtown. D and S were staying at the Golden Nugget and I was staying at the Plaza on a Bingo package. I got 4 nights including a Sat. and Sun., two Bingo packages that included 2 $10.00 dinning cerfificate each, $20.00 in free slot play each and some bingo daubers for $338.00. Bingo only for D was $130.00 and included the slot play. My 5th night at the Plaza was $36.00. I got a room in the North Tower on the 11th floor, near the railroad tracks. I think I only heard the train twice. The renovated rooms were nice, but as reported no closet and would not be good for two people but was fine for me.

More later have to go to my Wednesday Dealer's Choice Poker game

    BBB Trip Report cont

Friday afternoon S and I had spa appointments at the Golden Nugget. I had bought Groupon coupons for $89. I had 50 min. Swedish massage and 25 min. express facial. S had 80 min. deep tissue massage. The Nugget Spa is vey nice and we have been there many times.

We all went to Happy Hour at the Chart House, good appetizer and drink specials. We split 3 appetizers, prime rib sliders, fish tacos, and plantians with two salsas, 5 drinks and bill was about $35.00. We gambled various casinos and called it a night.

Sat. 7/7 in the am we had pancakes at Dupars, went to the Nugget pool. Proceeded to play first session of Bingo (no Bingos). We had an early dinner at the 777 Brew Pub. Good eats. D and S play only slots and video poker. I like Pai Gow Poker, Blackjack and a few slots. D is hold his own, S is down and I am only down about $200. Bands were plentiful, loud, and Fremont Street was crowded.

Sun. 7/8 Had breakfast at Hash House and used our Bingo dinning certificates. More Sun at the Nugget pool. On to our second session of Bingo. Today is my birthday and I am sitting in Seat 8. I finally get to Bingo but had to split with 4 others so only got $400.00 instead of 2K. A win is a win. We had a real nice birthday dinner at the Chart House. I played Pai Gow at the D that evening. I always only bet $1 on the bonus, well lo and behold I got a Royal Flush for $150.00 second win on my birthday. WE made a side trip to Circus Circus and Stratsphere. I haven't been in Circus Circus for years and probably won't go back again, it is a real dump.

Mon 7/9 D and S are leaving about 12:00 noon. We ate at the Nugget buffet for breakfast, it was just okay had 2/1 and another coupon they take for $3.00 off. Off to the airport. Goodbye to the kids.

I proceed to the Calloway Golf Center to try out some clubs. It is 109 degrees so I don"t stay out there too long. I have never been to South Point, I play blackjack for about an hour waiting for Bingo to start, no Bingos but blackjack nets me about $50. Proceed back downtown, casino hop playing all my favorite games. Use the last of the dinning certificates at the Subway at the Plaza.

7/10 Tuesday, Last full day. Go to Palace Station to play Bingo and have donuts and juice for breakfast in the Bingo Hall, it was a $30 breakfast. Head back out to the Suncoast, still searching fro another Bingo win. Came up empty but make a little on blackjack and slots. Back downtown, have to have my Binions burger which I pay for with comps. Played lots of penny slots on the last evening. Turned my $24.00 free play at the Plaza into $140.00..

7/11 Wednesday, my planes leaves at 11:00 am. I leave plenty early to return car and use my other United Pass.

I came home with $150.00 more than I went with so it was a successful trip.
Eight days is 2 day 2 long.

Going back in December with D and S again and more Bingo.

Nice report, glad you had a good time.

I know what people do in toilets, and showers... their natural bodily functions and then cleaning body parts.

Wikipedia defines bidet as "a low-mounted plumbing fixture or type of sink intended for washing the genitalia, inner buttocks, and anus." Eww.

    Back to your TR.

Interesting to read of somebody going to Las Vegas on a bingo trip. Although I can't get excited about bingo (my in-laws like to play and drag us along to our local casino to play) its nice to see that casinos offer Bingo games. The amount of floor space needed and the length of sessions would make me think that a casino couldn't wait to load that area up with slots, but this shows interest in a variety of players, and it is kind of neat.
