Sorry if this has been asked before.

So Im about half way to Platinum. If i reach Platinum by December 31 2015, what would be my status at 2016? Would I be back to Gold or at Platinum?

If I am at Platinum would I then need 10,000 Reward Points to reach Diamond for the entire 2016?

    Thanks
    Leonard

Whatever status you reach by 12/31/15 is your status for 2016 (unless you upgrade during 2016). Actually it lasts until 3/31/17. So you will be at least Platinum until 3/31/17 if you get there by the end of this year.

Diamond requires 15,000 TC's during a calendar year. If you don't get that by the end of 2015 it resets to zero and you need to get 15,000 during 2016 to upgrade. You will need to get 5,000 during 2016 to remain at Platinum beyond 3/31/17 (or get the credit card which makes you Platinum by itself).

So if you make Diamond by 12/31/2015 are you not Diamond for 2016?

Platinum is no longer automatic with the credit card at least not after first year, you have to spend $5k during the year on the card now, which is pretty easy to do

Saw it and am dumbfounded I guess. So if hit Diamond say December 15th, you get to be Diamond for a total of 16 days?

Thanks for the info, this will definitely affect how I gamble at CET, having a TR Visa I don't even need to gamble a penny to be Platinum and I now have no aspirations to become Diamond.

It is the same with Diamond as it is for Platinum. Whatever level you reach in a particular year, you will be at that level for the remainder of the current year, the following year, and also the first quarter of the year following that. Look at the year that HuskerBB wrote. It is March 2017, not December 2015. It's more like, you'll be Diamond for 472 days. Your calculations are off by 456 days.

So, I am wondering why this was not understood. Maybe WE don't get it.
