I have a Four Seasons Offer MLIFE Mailer - not sure why as I have not stayed there.

    Three Complimentary Nights
    $200 Resort Credit
    $350 FREEPLAY

I have stayed at Mandalay Bay 3 of my 4 trips to Vegas (2 @ TheHotel, last time in a MB suite on the 62nd floor that was just way too much for me). From what I can tell from the website the newly remodelled Four Seasons is also too much for me.

ALL of my offers come from Mandalay Bay but I want to try something different, a new location and I do want to maximize the value of the comp but minimize the value of the room if that makes sense.

Thinking of either NYNY (fun Casino) or Mirage (love Rhumbar); I have no access to a host at either property.

If I call these properties will they be able to see all of my offers and just add up the value and match it in kind or will I be trying to convince them of what I have been sent in the mail ?

What would be the simplest approach ?

    What's your play level?

I did exactly what you're saying to book my upcoming trip. I had an offer from Monte Carlo. It wasn't a great offer, but it was okay. But I'd stayed there my last three trips.

I called Mirage and asked to speak to a host. They asked me if I played table games or slots. I told them tables. They gave me a host, I told him my MLife number and he looked me up. I told him what I had at Monte Carlo and that I wanted something different. He beat their offer on the spot.

When I called, I wasn't a jerk. He seemed wary of offering me at first, because he didn't want to offend me. I told him that I understand theo, and just tell me what he can do.

Anyway, it worked out very well. For reference, I play about $100 a hand average.

They are usually aware of those other offers. I have had about a 60-70% success getting another MGM property to match or better an offer. It is well worth a call.

You may even have other offers that you did not know about.

I had an offer at Bellagio and wanted to see if Monte Carlo would hook me up. My offer was not big. 3 free nights 200 fp 100 food. I called a host on duty at monte carlo and they said they could hook me up with hotel 32 and match the food but not FP. Is there something about FP they can't match? The host said she was not allowed to match free play

Just a few days ago I booked a trip for next week. I had a 3 nights, $100 food & $60 FP offer from MB. I randomly emailed a host at MC to ask if they would match as my credit line is at MC. She said they wouldn't compete w sister properties and offered me room $30 free play & no food credit.

I said no thanks and took the MB offer.
