    Good day VMB!

I live about 4 hours from Las Vegas and love staying downtown. This time around, I'm heading up with a buddy who loves to shoot pool, so I'm looking to gather some location information about places to shoot pool downtown, preferably walking distance. I'm staying at the GN, and I realize Backstage Bar & Billiards is just down the way. What other spots? Dive bars, restaurants with tables, anything!

Having frequented Hog's and Heifers, I know that this bar has a table and this will definitely be a stop while in town.

I remember an old dance club called "The Beach" that had pool available... venues like this are also

If there are a few spots worth checking out and we can get away with a cheap cab fare (under $10?) mention it.

One visit to LA, we stopped by a strip club that had pool tables. Interesting experience!

Thanks for all of your help!

I haven't been inside since it stopped being a casino, but I would guess that Gold Spike has at least one pool table.
Atomic Liquors used to have pool tables. No idea if they still do, but it's walking distance from downtown anyway.

Gold Spike does have a pool table.

The reopened Atomic Liquors does not have a pool table.
