We've never really looked for a place to do something like this but a couple of buddies with us this trip wants to watch it somewhere.

Is there a bar/restaurant that we can dine at while watching the fight for free?

For Free? Fat chance. If there is a place they will most likely charge a cover. You may find it off strip at some sports bar or something. You can check Lagasse's Stadium at the Palazzo. If they are not showing it they may be able to tell you who is. I did find a related page through google.

This is for UFC but some of these places may also be carrying the boxing

Vegas is probably the worst place to be to see these fights unless you're actually going to the fight. around here you can just hop over to Hooters and see the UFC or boxing PPVs for free. in Vegas there's always a cover and they are packed and sell out. you're better off being home for these fights if you don't have tickets.
