Okay with the new upgraded rooms in their south tower, is there any other reason we should stay in the north tower?

Most people in here will tell you that the North Tower is better for various reasons, however, as a long time Bally's fan, i prefer the South Tower and then ask or do the $20 tip to get a high floor. The view in the south is much better, it's closer to the Strip, you have Nosh, Java, the Show, the Reso desk, the walkway between Bally's/Paris, etc.
There is also construction on the inside by the food court as well as Bill's, this could create a problem walking across the street (on Flamingo blvd) if you're going North on the Strip. The only negative with the South is you are closer to the pool by staying in the North. JMO as most other people will tell you to upgrade to the North (standard rooms for both Towers).

No reason not to stay in Jubilee when it switches over. I just hope it doesn't take 10 years for them to update the North.

I don't have the exact measurements, but the North Tower rooms are definitely larger than those in the South Tower, at least the ones I've seen.
