    Hi all,

I'll be staying at Bally's at the end of March and had a question about their resort fee. It says that use of the fitness center is included. The last time I stayed at Bally's (probably 5-6 years ago) the fitness center was all part of the spa. Is this still the case and can I use the saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs as part of my resort fees? Thanks for any light you can shed.

My understanding is that the resort fee covers use of the gym equipment as well as the shower, sauna, hot tubs, etc. Spa services are an extra charge.

I believe, like most resort fees, it covers unlimited looks in the mirror, unlimited viewing out the windows and now newly added, no extra charge to lock the door. Other than that, it's just the rest of the room charge that they don't have to split with Travelocity, Trivago or Tripadvisor.

    Hi Dan:

I am most familiar with Ceasars Palace and I can tell you that for that CET hotel, the resort fee only includes the workout room and does not include use of a locker, shower, the sauna, steam rooms and hot tubs. I do note that the Bally's spa menu indicates that when you purchase spa services, the "facility fee" is included. So my guess is that Bally's is similar to Ceasars Palace. You can call the Bally's Spa at 702-967-4366 for the straight scoop.

We stayed at Bally's last year. I believe 2 guests per room had free access to the spa but you have to pay for massages, etc. I was hurting really bad and used the spa for a while. It's just okay. Seemed old and not super clean. I'd rather pay $40 to hang out in Canyon Ranch Spa at the Venetian for the day.

Thanks guys and gals for the quick and helpful responses. I only ask because i'm not planning on taking a checked bag (carry on only) and every little bit of space counts. Even a pair of swim trunks. LOL

This is what is says everywhere I've seen. What I'd like to know is whether the fitness facility is separate from the spa area (it wasn't the last time I was there). I realize of course I'd have to pay for spa services, but if I had access to saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms, etc... as part of my resort fees, I wouldn't feel quite so ripped off/strong armed.
