I heard on a Vegas podcast that the Bally's poker room was being moved. Has this already happened?

No it hasn't. It's scheduled to move early November.

i kinda like where its at right now. easy to find, and right in the middle of all the action. it does get loud when there is the band playing in the lounge. but be interested to see where they are moving it to.

Yes! I love that it's in the middle of the action as it gets many first-timers to play. I hope they don't move it downstairs like the room at TI.

During our recent stay there seamed to be much moving of slot machines. What we saw was the corner area left of the bar near the south tower slot/poker machine section being cleared of machines. This was a week ago so I could not confirm whether or not this was the area they were looking at but I cannot believe they would remove the poker area off the main casino floor.

That's good info. The podcast (I think it was Five Hundy) said the Bally's poker room was going to be moved to an area where VP machines were near a bar. For the life of me I could not picture what area they were talking about. I completely forgot about the bar near Nosh. I guess I don't often make it to that area of Bally's.

I guess that area will be okay for the poker room. There will be foot traffic from folks to and from the south tower and it is near the front entrance. Nice to be away from the noise of the Indigo Lounge but I will miss the view of Jarod's dancers in his pit.

yeah i guess that makes sense, every time i walked by the those VP machines never seemed to have anyone playing them, may just be because only time i walked by them was early morning late nights when going to my room in south tower, or becuase if i remember right they are the ones with progressive jackpots, and well those have worse odds right?

Just a quick update to post this Ballys Poker room Twitter post. https://twitter.com/BLVPOKER

The room confirms the move and states they are also adding more tables.
