A few of us are staying at the MGM for a few nights at the end of April and we were looking for at least one decent bachelor type meal. Where would be a good place for decent supper that is not too expensive. I was looking at Gallagher's at NYNY and previously I have had a very good meal at Heritage Steak at the Mirage. Any other recommendations?

We did a bachelor party dinner at Tilted Kilt. We had like 12 of us, it was a great time. The manager even brought over a round of shots for everyone. Its not as fancy as Gallaghers, but its a more fun atmosphere with complete smokehouses as waitresses.

You are gonna get a bunch of different answers based on what you consider "not too expensive" to be. Do you have a price range per person? also how much do you plan on drinking while at the dinner.

Something close to MGM which I like is Smith and wollynsky. Head north up the strip and its just before the wallgreens. The food there is very good and its not too expensive and also a good atmosphere for a bachelor party.
We have done Flemings steakhouse for a bachelor party ( this will be a cab ride). Around the same cost as Smith and Wo.

Figure a decent steak is gonna cost around $50
appetizer is gonna average around $15
~$10 for a side(if you get a few for the table to share).
Throw in a couple glasses of wine at ~$15 each, (so call it $30)
maybe a drink or 2 while you are waiting for dinner. $25

I would be prepared to spend around $150-175 per person for the night if you are gonna do a steakhouse. Plus I'm sure you guys are gonna pitch in for the bachelor. Obviously this can go up or down based on what you order

Not too expensive is too nebulous.

You need to put a dollar amount in order to get any intelligent answers.

One place I would recommend is Pub 1842 right at MGM.

Thanks for the replies so far, price range we were looking at was around 100ish dollars per person, we probably wont drink too much at dinner maybe a drink or two...

With 100 per person budget, i would try cut or prime. Usually the meals start getting expensive is when you start ordering wine.

I can vouch for the place, provided that they serve steak for the Cut of the Week. I always leave full, the food's great, and you get all the wine you can drink. You can't find a better value for good steak elsewhere on the strip that I can think of.

Without too much booze, you can totally get out for $100 a head at StripSteak or Prime ... Both handle bachelor parties really well.

Take a look at 35 Steak and Martinis at the Hard Rock, the vibe might be what you are looking for.

rider, if you are planning on staying strict to that budget I would look at some of the restaurants menus and see if they have a decent prix fixe with a few different options. Someone mentioned N9ne steakhouse at the Palms. They have excellent food and they have a prix fixe menu for around $60 but its only certain times.

Literally any good steakhouse is ideal for a bachelor party dinner and you'll be fine at that budget since you won't really be drinking. Its a good idea to do it at a steakhouse in a casino you're staying at (like Cratfsteak since you're at MGM) or a casino you're want to hang out in for a while, etc. Moving a group back and forth between places just for dinner isn't worth it in my opinion for what amounts to marginal differences in the top steakhouses.

Went to a bachelor party dinner at Brand at the Monte Carlo which was great. Also went to Joe's Seafood at Caeser's which was great as well.
