They've posted a pretty impressive menu (which it should be for 68 bucks) but I'm wondering what kind of crowds to expect. I'm familiar with their sign in kiosks but I've seen comments on line about multi hour waits. Has anyone gone there for a holiday dinner in previous years ?

I've walked by the incredibly long line - but haven't gone in (I don't do lines).

Seriously, eating out is HUGE in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving. Even the locals get in on it. It's easily the busiest dining day/night of the year. If you don't have some sort of special line pass, I'd consider getting a reservation at a good restaurant instead.

prepare to wait for 4+ hours in the line. Go there before lunch, it's about time for dinner when you get in.

Are they still selling line passes? There's no mention on the website.

It seems that nobody that lives in Vegas cooks at home on Thanksgiving.

Were there one year and the line at Bellagio was down the hall PAST the entrance to room elevators, and was doubled up. Even the VIP line was too long for us to bother. We ate at Olives instead.

The restaurants are not so crazy. The buffets are nuts. I'd avoid the buffet even if it was free.

Line was up to 6 hours long last year. It would have to be my last meal to wait that long.

Yikes! One last question...Are the lines any shorter after 6:00?

On Thanksgiving, the buffet lines will be shorter after 8 to 9 p.m.

Stayed at Bellagio over thanksgiving and the smartest thing I ever did was to make a reservation at the VooDoo Lounge. Walked past the buffet line as the hotel employees were setting up more ropes. Leaving at 4 PM we overheard "I told them the wait would be four hours!" Returning at 7 PM we saw the same line, a couple of kids were eating McDonald's french fries.

Maybe a chance for a quick business opportunity...I'll have my kids get in line and then when they get towards the front of the line they can sell their spots to the highest bidder :evillaugh.

I just called Caesar's and was told that the line passes will be 25 bucks and that they will be available "off and on throughout the day" as they will have to limit the number offered.

I look at holidays as events that are forced in us.

I appreciate thanksgiving and being thankful but i dont have to eat a fancy meal and wait in line to do it for hours. I can simply eat my fancy meal the next day when i have the run of the place. We can do things on our schedule, not the schedule they dictate for us.
