I'll regret saying this, but so far a tolerable winter. December was the warmest on record. We did get a 7-9" snowstorm last week, but sunny and 25 F yesterday and today
Had the AC running Christmas Eve and day. Then sleet around New Years.
We didn't even need a coat Christmas Eve or Christmas Day but we are paying for it with an extreme cold advisory now. Oh well, it has me looking forward to our trip.
Super warm here in Dec. but today down to 30 and windy ,but sunny and no snow so I'm not complaining. Hit 50 yesterday and supposed to get back near 50 by the weekend . Not planning on any winter trips this year, can always go to the tropical pool at Harrahs AC for palm trees and warm sun.
I've been switching between AC and Heat, been a crazy month.
Just wind here. As these reputedly sizable storms come rolling in we are greeted first by winds that are more frisky than our usual blowers. Big enough yesterday to flip over the potted citrus. We're to get hammered by rain at some point for several days but the first one went through with less than a whimper. All it's doing is effing up golf!
Have fun in Aruba!
Enjoy! It's been between 6-8 degrees today...
4 degrees here in central NY!
Say "Hi" to Santa for me! He must be switching islands as I just saw him in Jamaica a few days ago!
Have an awesome time!
9 degrees this morning in Pittsburgh...Brrrrrr!
Aruba.........I hear it's lovely this time of year
Seattle.......not quite, 42*F, gray, dark, and raining until April. Currently mandatory reading season.
New Year's Day and the 2nd were gorgeous though, 28*F, dry, crispy cold, and sunny. Great way to start the new year, everybody who received a bike for Christmas was out riding !
Nothing going on here 'cept El Niño.
