Anyone been to the casinos in Australia, particularly Sydney? I might be doing a trip there later this year for business and thought it would be fun to check them out.

Can't help you out. Sorry. We walked into Crown in Melbourne and the one over in Pyrmont in Sydney (and Sky in Auckland when we were over there) and left almost immediately. Simply not our thing if we're not in Nevada. I do recall Pyrmont being light and open ... and busy. While you are over that way make SURE you hit the Sydney Fish Market!

I've been to the one in Brisbane. This is quit a while back though and got pretty smashed. Do remember that I came out even. Well actually I won and a friend lost but we agreed to split the profits.... Slots there are called pokies :) If you're a sltos player you wouldn't have to go "all the way" to a casino. Lots of pubs have separate rooms filled with pokies..
