August meet(s)

Man, I have yet to play shadow. Every trip I think about it, and never do. That would be a great excuse to take a day away from this convention.

 

Coming out August 6-10. Staying at MB/Delano any Cosmo. Trying to get into the MB slot tournament.

Would love to plan a get together that weekend. Who's up for it?

 

Staying at linq the same dates. Wife myself and best friend. Best friend is a Vegas Virgin so have to show him the ropes.

 

I made the mistake of looking at flight prices... Now I have to fight myself on booking one. Just found out that the host I was going to deal with at The D has left. Hoping I can still get my free room.

 

So when are you booked for.

T -26 days!

 

I'm thinking the 24th-27th. I can get a flight for under $200. Then I've already got my September one booked.

 

T-27 days for us!! We`re not big gamblers (my husband gambles a bit) but Im looking forward to watching some of the action at the tables. Is that ok to just watch? Or is it frowned upon kinda like watching people `doing it` in public?

We are both Vegas Virgins, around 30 yrs old, got kids and all that crap. We just want to cut loose and have some fun for 5 days. I don`t know if I can last another 4 weeks, I might have to do some practicing here before we go.... get the liver tuned up again

Nothing worse than passing out just a couple of hours after you get into town.

And, most of the time they don't care if you just watch. As long as you're not blocking people trying to get to the table.

 

I'll be at the linq at the same time. Bringing my wife and buddy. Buddy is a Virgin as well. Ages are around 30 as well? Where are you guys staying? Could be fun to have a slightly larger group to hang with.

August 23 to sept. 2 moving to comp days at 4 casinos. DT aug.28- sept.2 leaving early on the 3rd.

Im glad that it's ok to just watch, I'd also like to learn and I think watching what other people are doing would help. I'm getting so excited!! 26 days seems like so long, especially when one of my co-workers is going on Sunday!!

We're staying at the Flamingo! It would be great to get together with some people, what are your plans for the week? We get in at 9:30 on the 22nd. Do you have any open nights? We're hoping to see Absinthe on the 23, have tickets booked for the 24 for KA (7pm show, so lots of time after). We're thinking about Downtown on the 25 and nothing planned for the 26.

We were thinking about going downtown on the 25th too! Hoping to do the Mirage dolphin thing in the AM and then the Mob Museum before we hit up Fremont.

 

We fly in the 23 around 3. There till the 28th. The only night we have plans is Tuesday. Otherwise we purposely leave every day open and wing it. I have a list of stuff we want to hit but no plans. Def want to hit some shows. We love walking the strip and see what's available. As I said we have a Virgin in our group so hitting all the normal spots. We are heavy drinkers and love walking the strip. And with you guys being in the hotel right next to us it's easy to meet up! Could be fun. What kinda things you guys plan on hitting? When I'm home I'll post my list of stuff I want to hit(I've been there 5 times so know the all the normal cool stuff)

Def up for meeting up with anyone there at this time for a drink and to share stories.

 

We have tickets for the neon sign museum (highly recommend.) on Tuesday at 8pm. I can't recommend this enough. Book early tho it sells fast. After neon museum we plan to hit downtown as well. Tuesday during the day we are doing hoover dam
