    My Trip Report

    Our Trip Report
We flew in from Newark,NJ and got to Vegas at 10:00am. One of the shortest and best flight I ever took to Vegas. We took cab to Golden Nugget, we stayed her for one night . We wanted to stay down town at least one night. We stayed d in a Club Level Room. The room was nice, but the AC could have worked better. We liked that with the club level you had a table in the hallway that gave you complementary water bottles and snacks, then in the morning coffee and newspapers. After checking in we went to the pool (one of the main reasons of staying there was for the pool) the pool was ok, it was small and for a few hours during the day only half of the sun deck got sun. The sun was blocked by the hotel towers. The water slide through the shark tank was fun and different.
Then in the evening we ate at Toney Roma'S for the prime rib dinner it was very good. Then we gambled at several of local casino (played craps, poker and a little BJ) an placed some sports bet. We did Ok. We watched the Fremont Show.
Monday morning we ate at the Buffet t GN, and left the down town area rather early about 9:30am. We had enough of the down town
Then we headed to The Hotel Mandalay Bay were we stayed the next 4 nights. We checked in at around 10:30 and I did the $20 trick. I had the $2o between my ID and CC and ask if heir were any complementary upgrades, she began typing away and then eventually she said Sir you have money between you ID and CC I said it was for her and she began typing away and gave us a corner room on the 30th floor it was a V Suite with a great view. The room ended in 916 which I read on the forum was the room to get , We had two floor to ceiling windows on either side of the TV in the bedroom looking at the strip. It was a great rom. We stayed her for 4 nights.

Monday. We hit up the pool that day, it was packed took us 15min to find chairs. Then that evening we went to Gallagher’s steak house with my wife’s friend, she was staying at MGM. I ordered the king cut prime rib, it was not as good as the meals I had their in the past. Then that evening we gambled at MB, craps, poker. We went to Minus 5 at MB for a drink, it was ok to try but would never do it again.

Tuesday we went to the pool again. It was less crowed but still extremely crowded, a lot of kids. Then that evening we went to Aureole for dinner. We had a five course dinner, it was delicious. Afterwards we gambled a little bit at MB,then walked over to MGM to meet my wife’s friend for a drink. Then on the way back we stopped off at Excalibur and played craps for a couple of hours, coming out a head a couple hundred dollars each. We played until about 3:30am.

Wednesday we went over to Wet Republic, because we were getting sick of all the kids at the MB pool. Then at 5:00pm, my wife, her friend , and I went to RM Seafood for dinner. The food was great. At 7:00we went over to the Luxor for the Chris Angel Show. It was very disappointing, the show consisted of more of his dancers then him doing tricks and most of the tricks were easy to solve. In addition the show was short only 1hr and 25 min. Then we went to The Mix and Studio54 for a couple of drinks. Then we played craps until about 4am at Excalibur, we came out up a few bucks.

Thursday we went to the south pool at MB. It was less croweded and no kids. Then around 6pm we headed down to the Wynn for dinner at Okeda(sushi restaurant). We had great seats right next to the water fall, the sushi was very good. Then after dinner we walked up the strip stopping at TI, Mirage, then onto Bellagio were we had tickets for “O†the 10:30 showing. This was the second time I saw the show, but my wife’s f first. It was amazing, I still don’t understand how they even thought of the concept for this show.

Friday, we had to switch over to Mandalay Bay for the last night. The Hotel was sold out and when I booked the rooms a month earlier they wanted $350 for the Friday at The Hotel. So we went to Mandalay bay for $99 for the night. The switch was smooth and still had a decent view. We decided to skip the pool and just gamble and drink that day. We went to the breakfast buffet at MB it was ok. Then we went over to Excalibur and played craps for about 3hrs then back to MB to play some slots. Then at around 4:00 we began to watch the Yankee/Boston game. Let’s just say I made a deposit that day gambling. That night we were going to go to dinner at The Mix or Shanghi Lilly, but figured it was to late to make reservations so we just grabbed pizza to eat at NYNY. Then at night we walked down to the Paris, because the wife has been bugging me all week to go to the top of the Eifel Tower. So we did that. Then on the way back we took the LV Tram, back to MGM. After the Tram dropped us off at MGM and we walked through the turn table to exit the Tram area and I noticed my cell phone was gone, so immediately my wife called it. It rang and went to voice mail, then she tried again the same thing hoping someone picked it up. The third and fourth time it just went to voice mail. So that meant some scumbag had it and turned it off. SO WE CONTACTED Tram security and filled out a report, and they told me to call them in the morning. (called the next morning and still no phone) I also canceled the phone service right away. After that we headed back over to Excalibur to play more craps but my head wasn’t into it, because I was so pissed I lost the phone. So we only played for 30 min and then went back to MB to sleep at around 12:30.

Saturday, our last day we went to the pool early. I t was actually cloudy and even rained a little. We only stayed until 11:00am because we had to still check out and catch the plane at 2:00.

All and All I had a great time this trip. We ate at some great restaurants, had an awesome room at the Hotel, was able to stay awake until late most days with no problem, saw a few shows, got great tan, and finally gambled for the most amount of time at LV compare to all my 6 previous trips. In addition I did ok for gambling, I came out ahead in the sports book every day, I lost gambling all together but not much, it was worth the entertainment value. If it wasn’t for loosing the cell phone it would have been an awesome trip.

Can’t wait until next trip. Hope you enjoy the Report and sorry for any grammar mistakes.
