Starting to plan my next trip - a question regarding ATM withdrawals. I have a Bank of America card with a $1500 daily limit. How does this work when it comes to weekends? If I take 1500 out Friday, am I done until Monday. Do Saturday and Sunday count toward's Monday's limit or can I do $1500 every day including Sat and Sun?

    Anyone know?

You'll have to contact your bank. My old one counted Fri Sat and Sun as one day. Credit union I have now sees each day as an individual day.

I still use Travellers Cheques in Vegas to get around the daily limits and have never had any problems cashing them at any casino cage.

also depends on your time zone.
if your east coast and you take out 10 pm in vegas thats a saturday with draw , while if you took out on friday at 8 pm that a friday with draw.

ps,. depending where you some machines cap at 1000 , some at 3000$

This is a case where I'd call the bank. We're (mostly) BofA, too, but our daily ATM take is higher so at least in that regard there's not one set of rules.

First thing I do when I get a new ATM card is call cust service and ask them to remove the daily limit. My bank does without giving me a problem.

I'd wondered about that in the past...
My parents account with BofA had a daily limit of $300..however my account with Chase was $1000...I'm debating going with BofA (with this new job), but I just worry about daily max...I didn't even know BofA WOULD let you withdraw more than $300...
    Thanks

Any bank can adjust your limit. There is no guarantee it will be what you want but it's possible. It's generally based on your average account balance and history.

Thanks for starting the thread, as it got me to look more closely into the account I was planning to use which turns out to have a limit...but I think I'm going to let that help me budget instead of just bringing a wad of cash as I have in the past.

Slightly related, is the MSS ATM still 3 bucks? I get it rebated but I'll need to move enough into the account to cover those initially.

Never had to worry about ATM limits. I always roll into town with $40 in my pocket. Quickly turn that into several Benjamins and away I go. (right)

Actually, I usually contact my CU before I leave home and ask them to suspend my limit for the next few days. Never had any problems.

Thanks for all the responses. I will call BOA and see what they say.

Don't some of the machines have a maximum too?

It may just be because my card is a UK one, but one of the machines in the Fashion Show Mall wouldn't let me withdraw more than $300 even though my card limit (and available balance) was higher.
