4 nights Deluxe Ocean Suite at the Cove
Comp Taxes, Maid, Gratuities, Resort Fee
    $100 Resort Credit per night
    $250 Slot Play
    and acouple other things.

Can I use my 7* and Diamond Airfare for this trip?

Last stayed at The Cove late 2014.
Atlantis is a beautiful property and the Cove is a newer tower with a private pool.
I would prefer the RoyalTower as the casino is there.
You must take a shuttle bus to the casino and restaurants from the Cove.

Couple words of caution,Atlantis is known for both adding phantom charges to customer bills as well as not honoring comp offers.
My folio has been wrong every single time I have stayed there(4 times).
Review your bill in detail before you leave.

Did you upgrade to club level? If so how much was the upgrade?

My room was comped for 4 nights.
I did not even inquire about upgrading.Probably should have researched it more or I would have asked.

Does anyone know what the minimum requirement for gambling to get the Cove comp for four nights under this offer? I've stayed at Atlantis a couple of times but didn't gamble much and it was in the Coral tower, not the high end Cove. Also concerned about cash going through for Customs. If you send front money and win how do you get it into an account to send back.

So it says you get 2 nights free if you are platinum. I wonder if this is true if you become platinum by getting the total rewards credit card? That would make it a really good card to have!

I've read the fine print on the email offer and there was no minimum play required. But I suspect that you have to give them some play to get future offers and to have the additional charges to the room comped on a discretionary backend basis, if your play warrants it.

As a 7 stars this is a very attractive offer, and I am thinking of booking it for Dec before they pull it or devalue it. Does anyone know how long this has been available? Perhaps it is designed to bring in business during the slow summer months in the Caribbean and will be pulled before next winter.

CET has probably done a great job selling Atlantis on the value of their "premium" players, but in reality it is extremely easy to get diamond now. As most of us here know, high tier level does not equate to high adt, and I am sure a ton of diamond and even 7 Stars players will go in on the offer and play very little. Atlantis is known as a high action casino and not super generous with comps to established players.

On the other hand, Atlantis will probably do OK with this, since once you get there you are pretty much stuck there. Resort fees are $49.95+ tax per night (vegas didn't invent them) and food and beverage are very expensive. A friend who went on a "comped" room paid over $100/night since they charge tax on the phantom room rate in addition to the resort fee. If you look closely, the "taxes", maid, and gratuities are comped for 7 Stars. None of this is at the client's discretion, it is a mandatory addition to your bill. The dining "package" is $180/night per person, and this includes breakfast and dinner only at the less expensive restaurants. Want to lay around the pool all day and drink? It will make the Encore beach club or Drais look cheap.

Yes, we have had some very positive trip reports here on the property, but these are from pretty big players with no real budget. Those are the people the property caters to. It will be interesting to read the reports as people come back who wind up spending gigantic amounts on food and bev that they had not planned on.

I'm also a Seven Stars and received the email about Atlantis partnership on April 8th. I read about the fees in another post, it's a gorgeous resort, but you are pretty much a captive audience. I wasn't crazy about going over the bridge to Nassau. The meals expensive especially if your'e not comped. I remember buying a meal package but don't remed er the cost it was seven years ago. Going there a few years ago I didn't have any comps and I pid out of pocket. Staying comped in the Cove is really nice even though you have to shuttle over there. It's a pretty much private beach, but we walked over there and they let us stay even though we were staying at the Coral Towers because we were all adults and it was practically empty.

I think you can but it appears to be a long circuitous route through the various pool areas to get there.

Well I have my host checking on if I can use my airfare for 7* on this.

I can tell you this I'm a 7* and this year will not be spending much. So as far as going to Atlantis it will hopefully be a very little to no gambling vacation (I just hope I'm strong enough not to gamble). I'm not worried in the least about not gambling there as far as new offers and such. Also this is a benefit from being Diamond or 7* right? So next year if your that again then you should get it again? Not like FP, FB, etc.

I just checked on Expedia just to see how nice this deal is and I put in for thanksgiving this year (I dont know if this offer excludes holidays, but I hope it doesnt). and these are the rates I got

Airfare and Atlantis cove deluxe ocean suite - $6410
    Airfare = $1715

This means that the hotel is $4695? Thats crazy....So even if my 7* airfare doesnt work for this I still will most likely be going. I'm not too worried about the food or drinks as I would expect them to be expensive just like any other resort. Now that I think of it, if my airfare for 7* doesnt work for this maybe I can use the airfare to get to NO or something close where my tickets will be even cheaper.

Overall this seem like a really nice perk.........or as my girlfriend would say "I already prepaid for it"

The Atlantis has always offered people who have held premium cards free rooms. Some of the time no play is required, other times, they require minimal play. However, it was never a good deal as they put you in a crappy room, and charge almost $100 a night after taxes, fees, and gratuities. And then, they charge $100+ a day per person for a meal plan which doesn't even include beverages. A liter of water is like $10 and bottled water is $4 for 16 ounces. When you figure all of that in, you might as well pay for a vacation to Aruba which I find much nicer.

Here is their current deal which requires 6 hours of play: http://www.atlantisbahamas.com/casino/specialoffers/acpromotion

However, with the CET partnership, the offer for 7*s is quite good as they comp off most of the exorbitant fees. $100 a day in resort credit wouldn't cover a meal plan for 2 but it does for 1 person. In fact, if your spouse is also a high Diamond or Seven Stars, its probably worth it to book 2 rooms if they allow it.

Has anyone been to the Atlantis in January? Is it too cold there to make it worth the expense of a trip (coming from Southern California)

I believe the average temp in the Bahamas is around 72-75 in January. http://www.bahamas.com/water-temp-chart

wow, my mistake ... the 72-75 from that site is not the ambient temperature, but water temperature, which means that the ambient temperature must be higher.

You can get some really nice days in January(80s) or it can be chilly.
We were at Atlantis about 8 or 9 years ago and the weather was in the 60s and rainy for 3 out of 4 days. .
