    My Trip Report

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Flew in from San Diego last night. With connecting flight it's pretty much an all day journey. Checked in to our Cove room and headed straight for the Mossaic buffet. That buffet with tax and auto tip is $72 each. Other than that we (me and my gf) just walked around and went to bed.

Something of note. The TVs in the Cove rooms have the MLB extra innings package, meaning each room has every single game. I've never stayed at a hotel that had that ever in my life. Fell asleep watching my Colorado Rockies play.

Rooms are good size with a separate TV in a sitting area with couch. Bought a hat in the gift shop last night and there was no auto tip and the VAT was included. Price tag $32, amount charged to my room $32. The two free bottle waters in the room are small, but the mini bar has big waters for $11.

Ok, it's noon and we're almost ready! Off to the water park. Ps. No gambling yet.

I'm just curious what "charges" you had to pay for that "free" trip?
Wife and I will be 7* next year and we'd really like to go to Atlantis Paradise Island

That place looks beautiful. I doubt I'll ever get there, but looking forward to following along!

Looking forward to your reward. Atlantis is on our list. Wife is 7 star so we are interested in how well you are treated, if you get nickel and dimed on anything, and what your overall impression is. Can't wait to hear the rest of your report. Hope you get lucky in the casino.

So far I've only had to pay for airfare and Atlantis paid $250 of that. The 7 Stars package covers everything else including resort fee and mandatory maid gratuities. It also includes $100 F&B credit each day. Although $100 will not cover much so I'm expecting to pay out of pocket an extra 50-100 per day for food.

If anyone wants a picture of a menu or prices or VP pay tables let me know.

Our room at the Royal Tower was comped last week, but we had to pay the fees. We have been there several times and I keep all my room bills for future planning. Here is the breakdown:
    Resort Fee Royal Towers $49.95
    VAT (value added tax) $3.74
Royal Gratuity $10.00 (it is $5/person)
    Room Charge
    *PIDTA/**NPIPB Levy $12.04
    ***VAT (Value Added Tax) $8.40
    Total=$83.77

I am SO jealous!!! We just got back last Thursday and we are ready to go back!

Damn! Is that the normal-everyday 7* "Atlantis Getaway" Perk?!?
That wild! I'd definitely pay airfare for a week in Atlantis!

Love Atlantis, was just there in May, You must go to the Marina village to eat, Seafire is outstanding. Cabanas at the cove beach are one of a kind, you can pass the day enjoying the pool and ocean.

Do you recall what the prices for the cabanas were? I've read $750 for the cabana plus a $500 F&B minimum for the ones at the cain at the cove pool.

We ate at 77 West tonight (steaks and seafood). Got the sirloin and the lobster corn. Atlantis is not busy this week at all. When we checked in we were the only people in the registration area. The clerk said we wouldn't be needing dinner reservations this week. Pool chairs are available everywhere. At the Cove pools Cascade and Cain about 75% of the pool loungers were available all day. Waited 5 minutes each for two different water rides today.

The lack of crowds would make a cabana not worth it for me. Also I don't do much ocean swimming, I have a slight allergic reaction to salt water.

When the magician and hypnotist are not performing, they show a free movie in the theatre. So usually everyday at 4:30pm and 10:30pm there's a movie being shown. (Top picture). Still no gambling. Off to see the movie now.

Great report so far! The closest I got to Atlantis on our recent cruise was seeing it from the ship, so I appreciate seeing it up close via your TR!
Best wishes for continued good times!

Still haven't gambled. I was checking video poker pay tables last night and it's less than full pay. 9/5 JOB 7/5 BP 9/5 DDB if I'm desperate to play VP I'll play those but not on this trip and I decided no Blackjack either so it looks like I will be no playing this comp (with the room at $700 night it's about a $3500 value).

We're doing downtown Nassau tonight for dinner so we decided to use all of the $100 per day food credit at lunch. ($100 per day does not carry over each day) Ordered 3 entrees at Olives restaurant near the casino. (Bottom picture)

The top picture is of 3 cruise ships in port. The water park is more crowded today. We're gonna wait until they leave around 5pm to do a few slides. The water park closes at 7pm.

The middle picture is the aquarium which I think is open 24 hours to walk through. We walked through around 11pm last night.

Those vp paytables aren"t too bad. As good or better than any CET in Vegas unless you play HL's. Be interesting to see what happens if you decide not to gamble at all. If they decide to go back and charge stuff to you that is supposed to be free. Don't know if you play reels or not but we have a friend of ours that hit one of their tobasco reel machines for $2500 and another time for more than that a couple of months ago. The nice thing if I understood him correctly is they did not w2g him. We are looking at going either in Jan or Feb of next year and are enjoying your trip report.

Yeah the paytables aren't bad, but I'm used to full pay at MGM Grand and Luxor. Also I play 9/6 DDB at Harrahs Southern California. I don't play video slots or reels.

Nice TR so far. I was just there with my GF in April. I loved playing BJ at the Cain Pool. Looks like you guys are having a blast. We had the same 7* package and as you've deduced, the $100 FB credit doesn't go very far. For us, we had over $1400 in FB charges that were comped off the back end upon check out. YMMV depending on your play.

To touch on what someone else mentioned, it might not be a bad idea to check with casino marketing with regards to non play and your comps, we were there on comp and did not gamble much and we were charged for 2 of nights

This was before their partnership with CET, so it may not be an issue

Yes that's the offer I booked. And I'm glad you posted it, I had forgotten about the $250 slot play.

The difference between the Diamond Aspiration 2 and the 7 Stars offer is also the $100 daily food credit and the slot credit.
