    Good Morning -

It looks like several on here are from the East Coast, so I'm hoping someone can help me with some information about Atlantic City.

I'm traveling to see Iowa -v- Rutgers on 9/24, and have 9/21 - 9/23 to stay and play.

Are there any casinos closer to New Brunswick, or is Atlantic City the best bet?

We both can verify play, and I'm wondering what you would suggest for a casino to call for an upfront comp?

Is my best bet URCOMPED as my play is verified with them?

    Thanks, I appreciate it.

Sands in Bethlehem, PA is the closest to Rutgers, then Parx in Bensalem PA. Never been to Sands, Parx is nice, but a locals joint. Atlantic City has a greater variety of places to play, relax, and dine.

Your dates of travel are mid week, depending on your play you should have no problem getting comps. Plus, late September is still nice weather, you might even get a beach day although the water temperature might cause extreme shrinkage. Are you driving or planning on renting a car if you fly in? The Borgata is the best of the bunch, I would call there and see what they can offer.

As hammie mentioned, you have Sands and Parx which are both just 50 minutes or an hour away. Parx is nicer one of the two, decor wise. Casino floors are decent size. Something to keep in mind, Parx doesn't have a hotel on property. There's A Holiday Inn or a few other hotels just outside of Parx within walking distance. Sands has a hotel on property but I believe it is somewhere around 300 rooms only, and they get packed even during the weekdays. Where Sands is located it's kind of isolated as it's a small town and not much is within walking distance. Parx has a bunch of shopping center and eateries right outside of the property. Atlantic City is probably around 1 1/2 hours away, which obviously has a lot more to offer.

With upfront COMP, you might have better luck contacting any of the CET properties in AC or Borgata, which is part of MLIFE now.
