I am a low-roller who loves a deal and I hate when I miss one. I made a mistake signing up for players cards and just want to lay out for someone else, what they can do:

    1. Become Gold at mLife. It's a decent amount of play for sure but it seems like lots of people here flirt with that level of play. Of course, lots of you blow past that but you probably aren't looking for a deal like this. haha

    2. In Atlantic City, trade your gold mLife gold for a Borgata black label card. They give you $100 free play, one free night and $20 in comps. (I did this part correctly)

    3. While in Atlantic City, take your Borgata card over to Harrah's next door to pick up a Diamond card. Next, go to Tropicana and use either your Borgata or Caesars card to get a Trop Gold card.

    4. Trop AC has a partnership with Cosmo LV that will give you 3 nights free and $50 in freeplay. (the trop part and thus getting the Cosmo room is what I messed up. just signed up for a card and they won't promote me now...damn)

I feel like you can get some decent mileage out of doing nothing in AC.

And as a bonus, if you ever return to AC on a mailer from one of the AC casinos, Golden Nugget AC will match your free play/match plays from the other AC casino and throw in a free buffet.

Not bad if you are someone who visits both areas (as I just moved to the east coast, I now fall into this category).

Thanks for the info! Any idea if it works the other way as well- CET Diamond gets you MLife gold?

    Will give them a try!

I do not believe it will because there are no mLife properties in AC where all this card trading business goes on. Sorry.

Did you already have a rewards card at Borgata? Or did you sign-up as a new member?

I was a new member. You need to be new to get the free night and other perks but you don't have to be new just to get the black label card. You can actually renew each year regardless of how much you played as long as you have an active premium card with a competitor.

Oh, so this is an AC thing only? Doesn't work in Vegas?

I had done the mlife gold to borgata black label already, did you upgrade an existing total rewards card to diamond or get a new card? Was it as simple as upgrading at borgata? (Just showed mlife gold and they knew what to do and did it quickly)

I actually haven't done that part yet. I just threw it in there because someone posted about doing it a couple weeks ago. I'll be in AC in 3 weeks and will report back here.

Hi VegasSchemer, thanks for the tip!

I'm a little confused as to how you messed up on the Trop card. Are you saying they only give you the Trop Gold card if you are a new sign-up (while showing the higher tier Borgata or Caesars card)?

Also, are Trop AC and Trop LV the same players club? If I already have a Trop LV card would I be ineligible for the upgrade?

No, not the same players club. Trop LV is owned by Penn Gaming. Trop AC is owned by Carl Ichan.

Yes, you have to be a new member at Trop AC. And as mentioned, Trop AC and Trop LV are not the same club.

This might just work out as I'm in the process of moving to philly and I've never been to AC before! Any idea how long this promotion is good for? And how long you have to book the Cosmo nights?

Similar deal with Margaritaville Bossier City and Las Vegas. Bossier is it's own players club and nothing to do with CET like in LV. Also the Bossier location has a cross promotion with Cosmo as well. Not sure on the details though.

I don't believe that CET will give you a Total Rewards Diamond card for showing upper level cards from other properties. I believe you have to earn the diamond card and then you can take that around for level matches with other companies.

Do you know if, in order to get the Cosmo free nights, do you have to be a new Cosmo member?
