We were in Atlantic City Oct. 19 to the 26th. We arrived by Greyhound bus on the Lucky Streak from NY to Resorts... Just want to let everyone know, if you print your tickets at home, show the casino greeter the printout so you will get your free slot play. At Resorts, the greeter was saying you need the coupon that is attached to the tickets (If you purchased them at the booth in NY) but I knew what the web site said and showed her the printout of the return ticket. She had to make a copy and extra step for her I guess. We walked along the boardwalk and the weather was so nice. Since we arrived by bus and did not have a bike like Dewey we purchased the strip of 10 Jitney tickets. The cost is 7.50 for a strip of ten tickets for seniors. There is a check cashing place just around the corner from Resorts that has them. Best thing is they do not expire until June 30, 2014. We went to Revel to check it out. The drinks were very good, but the slots were tight, tight, and tight. We tried to check out as many casinos that we could, only missed the GN. We will save that for next time. Also noted that the Atlantic Club was almost empty, but it was a week day morning.Walking along the Boardwalk in the nice weather was very enjoyable. Since we stayed at the Skyline Tower we did not eat out much, but enjoyed Panda Express. We are so fortunate to have picked this week and not the following one. It is so sad to see the devastation that happened in just a short time after our stay.

My Wife and I Frequent AC alot and we were going to plan a trip but as you said, we assume the slots will be tighter than a virgin, so its Lake George and some alone time instead, which is fine, its so damn quiet up there right now and they have the best little diners, dives and drive thrus and a killer outlet mall close enough, so we wont go near ACity for a while, with all they need to do to get out of the situation, which is ugly!

The casino hotels are fine,up and running

Been down twice since the storm and no problems. The only part of the boardwalk that was damaged was a section near the inlet that was targeted for replacement anyway.
