    Hi

I arrive E Gates at McCarran approx 30 minutes before a friend who is coming into D Gates .

Assuming all on time etc I would like to meet them.

It looks to me like they do baggage claim in Terminal 1, while I am in Terminal 3.

Once I have my bags can I get over to Terminal 1 baggage claim area via the Train system, or would that be a problem with security etc.

We were planning a drink at the airport, but I am assuming that looks a bit difficult logistically once we have picked up luggage ??

Any thoughts from those in the know much appreciated.

    Thanks

The trams are after security so after collecting your bags, you wouldn't be able to go back for the tram.

I'm just curious, but why have a drink at the airport? You're in Vegas so go get checked in and have a drink together while gambling.

Meet at the Bud29 Track Lounge in terminal 1. It is outside of security, just above the baggage claim area. Smoking is now permitted within!
It's in the common-area/concourse area between the security aisles for the D & C gates.
Tell your 'D gater' friend that they have to take the escalator down to baggage claim when they get off of the train, but then take a different escalator up to the concourse area.
The Bud lounge is on one the corners of the main intersection of that area.

Finally have the room booked! Look for me Feb 21-23
