How are their restaurants? I love some steak ... I usually hit the one at Circus Circus then go to a high end one each trip.... What does Aria/The general area offer for Steakhouses along with just more casual dining? I dont want McDs.. but I'd the GF gets anxiety from "nice" dinners so I have to limit it to one :)

Aria does have a steakhouse, Jean Georges, however I haven't eaten there so I don't have any first hand knowledge. As far as the surrounding area, pretty much every hotel has a nice steakhouse so you could always go to Bellagio, Cosmo or any other casino nearby and have a good steak. Aria doesn't have a food court but there are some more affordable places to eat. I ate at Todd English Pub and enjoyed it. If you go there I would suggest going during happy hour, beers were half off I believe. I've also heard some good things about Julian Serrano for tapas and Five50 for pizza.

My girlfriend and I ate at Julian Serrano this past Sunday while staying at the Aria, and I'd highly recommend it! One of the dishes came out tasting devoid of salt, but after we asked the waiter for some (he was very attentive, but not over the top) all was good. Jean Philippe patisserie was also good for a quick sandwich before heading to bed after trekking the strip all day.

However, I'd avoid the buffet at all costs. We both felt it was overpriced (26.99 I think for brunch on Saturday) for the selection of food offered. Everything tasted a little 'off', especially the scrambled eggs which tasted like absolutely nothing! I'm not sure if we hit the place up on a bad day, but at that price point you'd think they'd be able to get something basic like scrambled eggs correct.

There is also She by Mortons right outside of Aria at the entrance to Crystals mall if you are looking for steak. I haven't eaten there yet so sorry I can't endorse it. I know I have not been disappointed with any of the restaurants at this property.

We ate at the Aria Cafe for a late breakfast/brunch and it was reasonably priced and very delicious. It's a very beautiful and enjoyable room.

We ate at Jean George on 12/26/2013 for our 15 year anniversary. Service was excellent - food was amazing.. Large Portions.. We had a Tomato Hearts of Palm salad, He had the Waygu Beef that was a special that day.. and I had the rib eye, we shared Truffle Mashed Potatoes, and brussell sprouts. We were too full for desert and took our leftovers back to our room. Amazing meal.. loved everything about it.

It was a couple of years ago but my boyfriend and I ate at Jean Georges and loved it. I had the lamb chops and he had the new york strip steak. It was expensive (we had $100 dining credit from our booking and still went slightly over) but it was definitely worth it. They also offer to take photos of you as a couple which was a souvenir I treasure :)

I eat at Jean Georges 5 or 6 times a year. Always good, very consistent from visit to visit.
Steak is good, so is the seafood.

Not a steakhouse but you should really consider Sage.

The restaurants are fantastic at Aria if you don't want traditional steakhouses, "frugal" or "casual" dining. I have no interest in any of these, which is one reason I love Aria. They show a good variety of better restaurants.

American Fish, Julian Serrano, and Sage are excellent upper/middle range places with creative cuisine and very high quality food and service. They are all approachable, not stuffy, and suitable for both the food critic and the drop in customer.

If you are looking for steak and/or cheap eats, Aria is not your place.

Jean Georges is my favorite steakhouse in Vegas. If you like sushi be sure to get the crispy sushi sampler.

I've eaten at Prime, SW, and Craftsteak and I like Jean Georges the best.

Five50 for pizza by the slice if you are looking for an awesome snack. It really was one of the best pizzas we have ever had.
