Which has the best upscale, nice, clean strip view rooms? Been to Mandarin 4times and love it, but want to try something new and stay in the City Center area. Cosmo is out, way to many Jersey Shore types, Vdar is out as seems dead when we walk through

I am very confused by this question.

MO is a very different property than Aria - no matter what the view.

In my mind MO is in City Center, just like Aria.

Vdara and MO are both "dead" as they are both hotels and not casinos.

    Not sure how to answer.

I agree with this. Mandarin Oriental will almost certainly have nicer rooms and better service, plus possibly a better view given its location. But, there's no casino, only a couple restaurants, no 24-hour bars, no lounges, etc. They're just entirely different properties.

EDIT: This is not to say that Aria will have "bad" rooms or service. I absolutely love staying there. But the two properties definitely prioritize different things.

The regular Aria rooms do not have the same level of service as Mandarin Oriental. They have decent views, but I had one day last year in a City View room where maid service happened after 3 p.m.

If you upgrade to a suite, you will get closer to the service at MO. I just got back from a stay in a corner suite and had quick service with turndown in the evening. They clearly prioritize service for the suites. Everything was better from comp Wall Street Journals and LV Review Journals delivered every morning to expedited bellman service.

My corner suite had great views of both the strip and the pool/mountains.
