Does anybody know if the SkySuite floors (containing the penthouses) with have single king or queens available to book?

I'm booking the One Bedroom Panoramic Penthouse and I called Aria VIP a few weeks ago and they told me I could book a second separate room in addition to the one-bedroom pano penthouse, but when I tried to book tonight over the phone, the VIP desk told me there are no single rooms available to book on the floors with the Panoramic Penthouse. Single rooms are only available in the main building, they said, not in SkySuites.

I looked at the floor maps on Room77 .com and it looks like there are several single rooms available on the 55th floor. I believe 55-037 is a Panoramic Penthouse based on a YouTube video. I'm guessing 55-036 is also a pano pent based on the floor map and description. Looking around the floor map, the Room77 site appears to show single rooms available: 55-032, 55-020, 55-018. They're classified as "Suite Tower Kings." Not sure if the Room77 site is outdated or what, but it seems to contradict the booking operator tonight that says I'm not able to book a single king (or queen) room on the same floor as the One Bedroom Pano Pent I'm trying to book.

Any insights would be appreciated! Thanks in advance...

I do see "Panoramic" listed as a possible variation on a One Bedroom Penthouse.

Here's the thing: at Aria, "Panoramic" means at least one room in the suite has a corner that is less than 90 degrees.
A narrower corner gives you a wider outside view.

The floor plan they have on the Sky Suites web site seems to indicate that at least some One Bedroom Penthouses have connectors, also I found a video that clearly shows a connector door right where the floor plan indicates.

So 037 is a Panoramic, but 036 is not. 036 does have a corner that is less than 90 degrees, but one side of it is a wall (emergency stairs are on the other side), not a window. So they don't call it Panoramic.

So if you really need a connector, or just an adjacent regular room, I'd just skip asking for Panoramic - it's not that big a deal as a feature. But this all certainly seems to prove the single rooms/connectors exist on the same floor as either type of One Bedroom Penthouse. I'd call Sky Suites reservations (877.580.2742) rather than VIP Services, something's getting lost in translation.

(This room is on the 53rd floor, if I had to bet, I'd say it's 53036, from the video walking in the hallway, it looks like it is the last room on the strip side of the hall).

The second person you spoke with is completely misinformed!!! The Aria Sky Suites tower ABSOLUTELY has separate single rooms. How do I know this? Because I have been in one! A couple of years ago I checked into the Sky Suites very early morning, and my suite was not ready. The reservationist kindly asked if I would like to use one of those single rooms temporarily while I was waiting for my room to be ready later that day. Of course I accepted. The room is exactly like one of the standard Aria rooms in the main tower, except there is a locked door that connects to an adjoining suite - if you would like to turn a one bedroom Sky Suite into a two bedroom, they will unlock the adjoining door. I was not in a Panoramic Suite then, but from the information above it seems as if there are indeed single rooms that do connect, contrary to what that supposed "VIP" reservationist said.

I also recall people on this board posting about checking into Aria and getting upgraded to one of those one bedroom Sky Suite rooms - they were not in a suite but had the same access to the Sky Suite Lounge amenities.

I would call Aria back and specifically ask to be connected to the separate Sky Suite concierge or reservations desk because they will certainly know what you are referring to and can help you with your reservation.

Most of the one bedroom Aria Suites,in the SkySuites have a connecting door to another bedroom.
I have been in a couple different Penthouse suites and not all had a connector

Thanks everybody. Appreciate confirming that the single rooms are available in SkySuites. That second set of VIP reservations operators was totally wrong. I had booked the panoramic penthouse online since the open space and all those windows were very appealing. I just got contacted by SkySuites concierge and I'll ask them to book me a second room on the floor. The one bedroom pano pent doesn't seem to have a connector, but as long as it's on the same floor, that works perfectly fine for us. Thanks again for all the help!
