Okay. I've stayed at Aria a couple of times and I still can't figure out the fastest way to get to places. Sometimes I come across paths that I don't believe I've taken before. I usually go through Crystals to get to anything North side of the strip and just walk out the front entrance to get to the South side. Can anyone advise me on the best (shortest?) way to get to:

    1) Cosmo

    2) Bellagio (Monte Carlo the same?)

    3) Mandarin Oriental

    4) PH

    Thanks.

There's really no quick way to do this. I've attempted to walk around and behind things, and wound up dancing around dumpsters on Harmon.

The fastest way is to walk through Crystals on the top floor, walk out to the left to the walkway along the strip, and cross on the walkway that connects directly with the Cosmo, over by Marquee.

For Bellagio, you can take the tram. It can be picked up on either end of the Aria. If you're on the south end of the property, start walking out towards the cab area, and follow the signs to the Monte Carlo. You'll see a turnoff to the right that leads to the tram. Go up some escalators, get on the tram, and ride it to the Bellagio. If you're on the north side of Aria, go into Crystals, go up to the top floor, and catch the tram there.

For Monte Carlo, just follow step one of the above, except keep walking straight past the tram area and you'll wind up in the "Street of Dreams", a little mini-mall. Then the food court, and you're in.

This is right outside the Aria. Go out to the cab area, and keep walking straight towards the strip. You can't miss it, really. You can go through Crystals if you prefer. Not sure it matters.

Your choices are to either take the tram to Bellagio, then go outside, or follow the Cosmo directions, but prepare to cross the street on the other side of the Cosmo. Both results get you to the same place. Going out to the strip past Cosmo is probably a lot faster - the tram isn't really a huge timesaver.

I go a slightly different route for Cosmo and Bellagio:

    To get to Cosmo:

Go out the back entrance as if walking to the Vdara (rear valet). Turn right and head to the Vdara. Before approaching the V, you well see a set of stairs leading down to street level (on the right). After walking down the stairs, turn right and walk along the road into the Cosmo garage on the left and into the back entrance of Cosmo. About 5 mins walk.

    To get to Bellagio:

Go out the back entrance towards the Vdara (rear valet). Turn right and head to the Vdara. Walk into the Vdara straight through and into the Bellagio. You will be right where the tram stops. About 5 mins walk.

    For Monte Carlo:

The Tram entrance through the "Street of Dreams" is the fastest way. Maybe 7-10 mins from leaving the aria doors.

    Planet Hollywood:

I go out to Cosmo as described above, up one flight at the escalators, out the front to the walkway that crosses the strip down the escalators and into the Planet Hollywood. About 10+ mins walk.

Better shortcut to Bellagio is walk out the North entrance and cross driveway to Vdara.
Walk straight through Vdara and you are in in the Spa Tower of Bellagio.
    Easily the quickest.

    Another MO route:
Go out front enterance by valet parking and turn right.Start walking toward the strip and there will be a set of stairs on your right.
Walk down the stairs and you will be across from the main enterance to MO.

I use this route when walking to the strip heading south.

Well, in part it depends on where you are starting form inside Aria. So for these answers, I will assume you mean form the main elevator bank in the middle of the hotel.

For cosmo, I walk to the exit behind the main registration area and enter the pocket park. From, there, walk immediately into Chyrstals, follow the wall on your right until you hit the exit on the oppositte of the mall. Then just walk across the bridge directly into the second floor entrance at Cosmo.

For Mandarin Oriental, I exit Aria at the main doors just past the poker room. You will be outside netx to the taxi stand. Then, just turn right and walk alongside the shops until you see a long staircase on your right going down. take the stairs and you end up in the motorcourt right in front of the doors to MO

For PHO, follow the same directions as going to Cosmo, except instead of entering at Cosmo, continue on the skybridge across the street. It ends right next to PHo.

Finally, Bellagio is a bit trickier. You can either take the tram (go past the poker room, except instead of exiting Aria, take the escalator up and follow the signs to the tram) or you can walk past Vdara. For the walking route, exit Aria at the North valet doors (this is next to the Haze entrance), turn right and walk toward Vdara. From there, you will see an additional walkway to Bellagio. Thewalkway ends at the rear of Bellagio, same place the tram would drop you off.

    Hope that helps

Seems I recall being able to bypass Crystals by walking through a courtyard where there's a large sculpture
then thru one set of doors into a small vestibule and then through another set of doors to Aria's Casino.

I always take a crazy long walk from the strip to the City Center area. Hardly anyone is walking the route I go...I'm I going way far out of the way?

When Crystals first opened, they had it to where you must walk through the south side of the shops from Aria to get to Las Vegas Blvd., where the trees are. It's since been changed to where you can walk through the north side (where you can walk up/down the stairs) without any impedance.

Thanks guys. There is a lot of information to take in. It seems some prefer going through Vdara to get to Bellagio and some prefer the tram.

I second this little secret. I stumbled upon that staircase one day while walking around Vdara. It's a time saver! It's kind of hidden too, it's at the end of the hotel right by the Silk Road place there, behind some bushes.

I think the reason some people perfer going through Vdara for Bellagio is that it just sometimes could be quicker depending upon where the tram is in its route. Plus going that way would save you a flight of stairs or two for the tram.
