We have avoided Aria ever since it opened. This trip we are staying at Monte Carlo and have a Gazillion MyVegas pts to spend....so we have decided on the Aria buffet. We will be going in on the Monte Carlo side. How do I get from there to the Buffet ( which according to the property map I studied) which seems to be on a different floor and on the opposite side from MC. Where abouts in the Aria casino is the Mlife desk....for example, near xyz bar/restaurant.

Exit MC by the food court and follow the street of dreams (towards pub). At the end of street of dreams take the escalator up. Follow signs to Aria and take escalator back down...about 200 ft between escalators. Once at bottom of Aria escalator (chrome sculptures on right), pass through glass doors. Go left and follow main walkway around past poker room and sportsbook bar. On you left is escalator up to buffet. Go up escalator to buffet which is a right at top of escalator. To get the MLife booth, continue past escalator, past HL SPIN slot room on right, then past 3 BJ and finally 3 Paigow tables on right. At the first row of slot machines you see past these table, make a right down that row. 60-70 ft to Mlife desk.

WOW! What detailed directions. Were you typing while you were walking that route or just know it that well? Very impressed.

Photographic memory so I am actually able to view the walk even sitting at my desk here at work. I have made the trek many times :)

    Over thinking on overload here.

Just walk in. Check out the casino. Cool place.

When ready to eat, either follow the many signs, or find escalators which are on your left when coming from MC. Or on your left when pointed towards front desk.

The maps for Aria and City Center in particular provided by MGM are terrible. Really, really, terrible.

The Aria is one of the easiest casinos to navigate once you are inside, and entering the Aria from the MC (through the street of dreams) is extremely simple, as you can't miss the Aria after getting to the end of the street of dreams.

I Loved the directions. I could give detailed ones myself at other properties. There is a chance that our first step into the place will be with a group of 4 of us...who will be hungry at the time. Otherwise I would have just mosied around like one of the posters mentioned. Funny how all of us know certain properties like the back of our hands. They just feel like home. :)

These threads always worry me slightly. Presumably we are all adults on here, and as such if it takes you more than five minutes to find a buffet in any new casino you probably shouldn't be there without a chaperone :)

Now that's not supposed to be taken insultingly, just a reminder that really they are just buildings at the end of the day. You're never going to get perpetually lost.

Maybe a bit of a drift here, but I really like Aria. One of my favorite places. Modern and sleek. Don't avoid it! Check it out after dinner. Love that place.

Sorry dannyocean...we avoid the high end props that are set too far back from the sidewalk. Been going since 1995 and the dh has still never set foot in Wynn. We learned after years of going what we like and high end is not one of them. We pretty much don't play anywhere anymore that we would not stay at in the future. We are happy to be middle of the roaders. New or high end = more expensive everything and newer slot machines...which are also not our favorite. If we could put Rio where Bally's is we would have a permanent home :)

You would think so. Nothing wrong with getting directions in advance though.

Semi-Quick story...last weekend I set up rooms for myself and 3 buddies. 2 were at Aria and I was at PH with my friend. The first morning we decided to meet at PH. I called the 2 guys and said..."Just walk to the front lobby of Aria and go left toward Crystal. Cross through Crystals staying to the left. Just follow the signs. Take the bridge across to PH. I will wait for you on the bridge"

After about 30 minutes of waiting, I called to see where they were. "We are on the bridge!" they exclaimed. I said "What bridge, I am standing here". "The one out the lobby of Aria". Huh, I thought how could that be. Turns out they went out Aria by the back near the Valet. They did not know that was "the back". They then got on the bridge that leads over to MO and MC....headed AWAY from PH. Oh well...like you said, they were big boys and found their way over to me. You could say they were idiots. But, they don't know their way around and there are no signs saying...If you wish to leave MGM Props and go to CET props, head this way.

Same goes for MC to Aria...you have to at least know to head down the street of dreams and where that is...after that, I was just having fun with the details :)

    Love Aria!

Absolutely love Aria! The wife and I are staying there again in June and can't wait! The rooms are fantastic, casino great and it also hosts the best poker room in Vegas (Just my opinion) only thing we were disappointed with was the buffet, we tried it once and we're very disappointed, maybe we should give it another go this time around.
