Hotwire has One of the hotels in the subject for $75 a night. If I book this will there be an opportunity to upgrade to a suite with a view at Checkin? I plan on doing the 20 dollar trick and I'm willing to pay an upgrade fee if needed. I will be there midweek on a very slow week.
    Thanks for the help,
    Steve

Almost always a chance to upgrade unless sold out. Doesn't matter you have Hotwire room

I dont think u will have much luck trying the 20 trick at either of these hotels. They will usually charge u more then that per night just for a better view(Cosmo or Bellagio). They will let u know at check in what upgrades are available and what it will cost u.

The difference between a basic room and a corner suite at Aria is $85 on my mlife offers. Is that what I should expect to pay for the upgrade when checking in?

If it's Hotwire, i'll be either Aria or Cosmo. Bellagio never comes up. Are you 100% sure it says Casino? If not it'll be Vdara.

There is always a chance you can get upgraded with the $20 trick but you need to be happy with the basic room you booked or don't do it. It's also possible they could ask you if you'd like to upgrade for a certain price.

From my research, seems like not many people get upgraded at Aria, maybe a view if anything. Cosmo I think it's more likely you could upgrade to a room with a terrace.

Also if it's a very cheap time, check out smartervegas.com look at promo codes, especially for Aria, it might be around the same as you'd pay though Hotwire, you mind as well book direct.

Awesome!! :) Hotwire and Priceline are a pain in Vegas, there is so many ways it can go. It's not like picking between a Marriott and a Hyatt.
