    Fellow VMB associates,
My wife and I will be in Vegas from 3/07 until 3/12. We are looking for deals on buffets and a couple of "good" dining spots for dinner. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We will be at Aria and then the wynn!

It would help to know what kind of food you are interested in. Both hotels have some fantastic options. My favs are Julian Serrano, Tetsu, Sinatras, La Cave, and Mizumi

Bardot and Sage are my Aria favorites. Julian Serrano is very good too and a great deal if you go during their happy hour. 550 has some tasty pizza. Milos (at Cosmo) has a great lunch special for $25.

At Wynn, I like SW, La Cave and Tableau. Tableau is breakfast and lunch only.

If you are going to be gambling anyway, you can score free buffet passes by qualifying for Wynn's daily free slot tournament (which, I believe, requires that you earn 500 Red Card points in a day).

I agree with everything on Carve's list as well. You really can't go wrong at those places

I was not impressed by any Aria restaurants, so if you are willing to walk/drive there, I will just recommend going to Mandalay Bay and getting Fleur's "Mini Tour of the World" and Charlie Palmer Steakhouse's "Cut of the Week".

As far as Wynn restaurants, my personal favorites are Red 8 and the Country Club (disclaimer: I haven't ate there since Chef Rene Lenger took over from Chef Carlos Guia, but I've heard it's still good), for lunch and Mizumi, SW Steakhouse, and Andrea's for dinner.

I'm assuming you've already booked your hotels, but if you haven't and you're going to stay in a Wynn resort room, you could sign up as a Wynn Insider. Some offers have included two free breakfast/lunch/brunch buffets for each day up to 3 days.

I'm not going to be able to add anything significantly to the list but I have a few comments.

At Wynn, SW has consistently been a great steakhouse in terms of steak ( duh ), rest of meal, service and ambience. Although I wish they'd change the Lake of Dreams show a bit, I've seen it a few times. La Cave is a hidden gem. It seems like it's never crowded but I really liked it. Zoozacrackers, great quick deli meal. It would be interesting to do a Pastrami to Pastrami challenge with Carnegie over at Mirage. It would be even better to do a comparison with Katz in NYC but that would be tough to do a fair test. Sinatra was delicious and the lamb chops were ridiculous. I really like Society Cafe but unfortunately they are closing, I hope Jardin is just as good.

I have not eaten at any real Aria restaurants. But I love getting a snack at Jean Phillipe Patisserie and people watch the casino. Great deserts!
