"On Tuesday, federal officials said they would fine Cirque du Soleil more than $25,000 and the MGM Grand hotel another $7,000 over workplace violations in the June 29 death of a performer. Sarah Guillot-Guyard, 31, fell 94 feet during a performance of the show "Ka" when a wire rope she was suspended from failed."

At least it sounds like this performer will recover just fine. However, the above snippet from that article certainly lets the gates open for a lawsuit by Guillot-Guyard's family.

I wonder what they do when this happens in regard to the show? Is it "the show must go on"? Do they end the show and issue refunds?

IIRC the unfortunate death in Ka was the result of the performer falling into the "pit" below the stage and out of the sight of the audience. This one looks like the performer just fell on the main stage, which obviously would require the show to stop. Glad to hear that this time the performer sounds like they'll be okay.

Anything severe enough, they'll stop and issue refunds. That's what they did in Ka's case. Initially they were still going briefly because it was unclear what happened: Tons of people fall into Ka's "pit" during the actual show. But terrifyingly screaming and moaning could be heard, so they unfortunately had to stop and issue refunds. At least that's what's I've read.
