Are there hosts specifically for the whales, specifically for the mid-tier players and hosts for the low rollers?

I can't say through experience but I would expect that there are separate hosts for the whales because these hosts (think of sam in the las vegas tv show) have to take care of every whim the whale has. The rest of us I think the general hosts can take care of us and our needs. But this is JMHO. Maybe we have a whale here that can give us some insight on that subject.

In my case, I was working with a host at bellagio and after I opened a casino marker playing for couple of nights I was approached by their Cadino Marketing Executive and he became my contact since then. I heard marketing executive suppose to have more "flexibility" rather than a host. (But, I'm not 100% sure)

For CET its actually the opposite. The Marketing Exec couldn't do a damn thing in the way of comping any part of the bill. Only the actual host could.

    Opposite, but not.

    Different companies use different titles.

But - there are different levels - at least between the "entry" level and higher end.

that funny too... um when I was approached by Marketing Exec.. which I was introduced thru my host then - host stated that Marketing Exec has more "flexibility" to work with my needs. One thing M. E. did for me he did increase my line without having to submitting any paper work and unlike a host he actually called VIP services to give them instruction for what I needed it (like limo ride, show tix, restaurant reservation) vs I believe host has to do all that himself. regardless I think depends on a hotel some host can handle whale no problem and I bet they have all kinds level player.
