Great TR Grid - I enjoyed it!
Also glad to hear that you preferred Love over Zarkana - I was trying to decide between those two and finally chose Love - which appears to be the right choice!!

Omg Grid, I read your TR out loud to my husband and we were both cracking up. I won't be able to walk by that "birds nest" again without thinking of it as a giant pee bottle!

We too are seeing Love from MyVegas...we have similar seats, it will be out second time to see it and I couldn't afford those seats the first time around so it will be interesting to see how it is from up close.

We always take a stab at those Happy Days machines at MC, my husband usually does well, I usually crap out in about 5 minutes.

Felt like we were there (even tho we will be in 2.5 weeks yeah!) I love your TRs. Thanks for the laugh!

And I went in wanting to like Zark. Other people told me it was lame but I kept an open mind. You'll love Love!

Always an entertaining read and great pics, even though I generally avoid slots. Thanks for another TR.

I really enjoyed your trip report. Very funny and it is nice to get a few tips regarding food, entertainment, etc. Nice pics. I had not read your trip reports previously so it was entertaining. Thanks.

Its not hard to win money in a casino, its hard to keep the money when you win!

    Truer words were never spoken.
I think you have convinced me NOT to try Zarkana!
The penguins moved on to the Dallas ZOO a while back....
    Thanks for the great report!

I guess Dallas is better than the dessert! And everyone warned me about Zark going in. But I still had to see it. My wife is very artsy, and loves anything theater. Hell we saw Phantom of the Opera twice in a year at the Venetian and loved it each time. But even she hated Zark. So we have completely different tastes, but the one thing we agreed on was that this wasnt for us.

Man, I hear ya on the keeping the money you win. Why can't I ever just walk away?!? You're not the first person I've heard mention that Zarkana was a waste of time. Your writing style is so funny, you had me laughing through the whole report. "drop off the Kobe beef burger" :kill: :kill:
Thanks for taking the time to write it up and for sharing.

Great report as usual Grid. Had me laughing a lot.

Totally agree that winning back half your losses right at the end of the trip definitely feels like a win. Strange logic but it happens.

I like your tip about printing the free passes for the auto museum. I'd love to see those cars. The Quad's site for it only mentions the normal $12 fee. You would never know if you went to the museum's own site you could print out free passes. Useful tip.

Thanx VD, I figure if I'm going to take pictures of all the fun stuff I saw and did, I might as well keep the report part fun. The only Cirque show I have yet to see in Vegas is Cris Angel and I hear to avoid it at all costs.

The logic is pretty sound, I figure if the wife and I can get away for 4 days, stay in a 5 star hotel, eat non stop, see 2 shows and lots of awesome things and take a stab at becoming rich all for just $900.00 (including gambling losses and flight) thats a steal for a vacation.

The free passes are here id anyone wants them

I'll have to go back and read your previous reports a this one was great....very entertaining. I've sworn off Cirque shows as every one I've ever seen (haven't seen Love) had me pissed at myself for wasting the money and wishing I could get those precious vacation hours back. Ka was aptly named Ka Ka!
