duty free in canada isn't cheap anymore for cigarettes, duty free in the states is(so we can bring back cheap ones),
but wondering if there anywhere were you can get a cheap carton of cigarettes near the strip (or downtown), and for how much or should we just bring our own with us

There's an Indian Smokeshop on the left side of Las Vegas Blvd. just north of Washington St. (which is just a little north of downtown, by the Neon Boneyard) that's supposed to have the cheapest cigarettes in Las Vegas.

Get' em before July... the Governor's new tax package, should it be approved by the Legislature, contains a increase of about .40 cents a pack, bringing Nevada's tax on a pack of cigs to $1.20

I went there a few years ago and they did have cheap prices. I honestly don't remember what the prices were, but it was worth the trip if you have a car already. When I'm on the strip I usually just get them from Walgreens, it's a hell of a lot cheaper at Walgreens than buying a pack inside one of the casinos.

we went to the palace station gift shop to redeem our free myvegas reward t-shirt and found some brand l&m (I think) and they were only $3.74 with tax and didn't need to buy a carton (duty free at the airport is only $25to bring home with us) so he only had to buy enough packages to get him through the week, so we never made it to the other place

Across the street from the MGM parking lot is a Motel 6. In front of the Motel 6 is a convenience store that has good prices on everything.
