I got on this a couple weeks ago & have been tweeting/facebook posting on all the CET casinos--I do everything they will let me each day & have accumulated a nice chunk of points--over $30 credit at CET properties.

BUT it says I must have a Klout score of 15 to cash..my Klout is 12 and has been for sometime. Any idea how to raise this? Has anyone every actually cashed out?

    I am on Twitter/Facebook a couple times a day--what else can I do?

Not knowing anything about the promotions themselves, I do social media recruiting and know about Twitter (enough...) --- you increase clout by increasing presence through more followers and the followers tagging you and sharing your stuff more. SO, you have to get more followers...and the way to get more followers is to follow more people. Twitter...it's an interesting little world.

NOW, let me go see if I can find these casinos...I didn't know you could get stuff through Twitter...I am on all their FB pages and haven't seen anything.

I've found the easiest way to up your Klout score is by playing facebook games. I got my score up from under 15 to in the 30's in a matter of days this way. I played for maybe 15 minutes a day, but I think you need to share game stuff with some of your FB friends. Annoying, but it worked.

I still can't completely figure out how it works, but decided to do it yesterday.

First, I signed up for FourSquare (don't know that I needed to, but it kinda looked like I did, so I did. Just more notifications for my phone. [Side note; I love the smart phone, but with all the add-ins and social network stuff, I am getting really tired of it.])

Then I signed up for Social Rewards. I went to all of its "partner" sites (the casino pages), made sure I "liked" them on Facebook and "Followed" them on Twitter, and watched the video on each page. When I was all done, I had 1000 points, which I could trade for 1000 TR points. But first, I had to move some points from the individual sites to the group site (which I don't think I understand), and when I got the 1000 points I was able to apply of the 1000 TR credits, which won't be processed for a couple of days, so I don't know if I actually did anything right.

Another way to earn Social Rewards points would be to answer the Question of the Day on each "partner" site and have your answer appear on Twitter or Facebook. One question might be something like "Name your favorite restaurant at the Rio and explain why". The problem is that with a dozen sites, I would clutter my Facebook wall and Twitter feed and piss off my real friends (because Lord knows, I hate when my friends do that stuff with games and such).

I don't know if I will bother with it any more. I might just take my 1000 TR credits and consider it pay for a couple of hours of work on a boring Saturday afternoon.

OMG! Is it just me or does this sound like a huge waste of time?

Isn't your time worth more than the value of these points? Think of it this way: Assume someone else wants you to do this stuff for THEM. They get the benefits, you just have to do all the tasks on their account. Would they have to pay you $20 an hour? $30? $40? Now think about how much time you would have to spend to earn enough points to equal that hourly rate. Would it take more than an hour? If so, it's time wasted.

Don't get me wrong... I'm not putting down the people who are doing this. I'm sure lot's of people find it to be an entertaining way of spending their time, much like gambling, but many just think of earning points (money) without considering the value of their time. If you like doing it and get money too, go for it! But the OP makes it sound like it's more of a chore.

i just do it when i'm bored/watching tv and it's a commercial. but i don't have twitter connected yet since i don't have enough followers :( so I dunno if it's a true waste of time but I imagine it won't take more than half an hour to do everything.

@jgates8 I just followed you. please follow me back @michaelchung_
    thanks!

Normally I'd agree in certain circumstances but with this you can only do 3 clicks a day so once you're registered you just come back once a day for 1 or 2 minutes max. It's a slow build like putting extra change in a jar for some time later as a nice surprise.

I see... The OP made it sound like it was lots of work and required you to expose yourself to every advertising scam available. Kinda like the old "get a free iPad!" offers. http://technologizer.com/2010/02/01/free-ipad/

Nah, nothing like those things. Nothing needed other than a twitter account, Facebook and some gradual time.

I am the opposite... I won't clutter my Facebook account with this crap, but try as I might, I only had 25 Twitter followers (and I think some of those were bots) so I just load up on the Twitter stuff (and apologies to those on this board that are following me as mjames1229).

Other than when you first start & can get the extra items that don't count towards your daily shares, you would really never have more than 1 or 2 facebook posts on your page in a day. I haven't had anyone that has even complained about the things I have posted, and I have even had 'likes' on some of the question ones where you post what memorabilia you would like in your PH room etc.

But once you get set up, etc, it takes virtually no time at all. Some days 50 cents, others $1, $1.25 - or maybe the full $1.50!!

For someone like me with no CET casino close to them it keeps my points active and gives me some points for things like the limo I hired to pick up me & mom in September.

yeah i originally didn't want to link my facebook account since I didn't want to spam my page with crap but that was the only account I could link (I only have 12 followers on twitter so far). Once I get my twitter connected, I'm gonna try to unlink my facebook.

You can set your facebook settings so that only you can see the posts from social rewards. Now you are not spamming people anymore.

Yup. Just go to your activity log on your fb account and change it to only me that can see it. You aren't breaking the rules! Its too bad they got rid of the foursquare check ins, but thats okay. For those that disagree with it, lets assume that you get 75 points a day. Over a course of a week thats 525 points, so realistically you could get $20 a month in your TR credit. Certainly not a whole bunch of money, but every little bit helps!

I have 15 followers and have tweeted like 12 tweets and still cannot connect to social rewards. My klout score is like 40 so its not that. How do I connect my twitter?
