My buddys grandson,9 years old got one from the other grandfather and it was a disaster according to my buddy. Just hope nobody gets hurt and god forbid, has one catch on fire. Mrs. JG wanted a drone to annoy the neighbors, just what I need.

    I got one for Xmas.
It is pretty fun to mess around on.

    Hope it is not defective

No, but Santa brought me a bike helmet.

I saw a kid on a hover board at Caesars in AC, the rest of his family was walking. I thought: here is another device that keeps kids from being active. So after playing Nintendo for a couple of hours, kids will hop on hover boards and have a can of cola and a bag of cheese puffs.

I saw the airlines banned them because so many caught fire. Not allowed in checked bags or carry-on.

How can you call something that doesn't actually hover a "hoverboard"? :wink2:

Nothing to hang on to ?
I think it's a great "invention" - should be a fortune made selling these things !..
Lazy Americans will eat these things up !
And I agree, with Hammie ---
Now the kids have no reason to even WALK, anymore !
    *
So, now they can TEXT while hoverboarding !
I thought the kid texting on his bike, with headphones, coming
around the blind bend ( on the wrong side of the street !) --- the one I nearly hit with my car !
I thought that was BAD enough ?
    great......
