Anyone done a 1 day car trip to grand canyon??

    A couple who we are friends with wnats to do a 1 day car trip to the Grand Canyon. I now it will be a full day 14-16 hrs. Question: will someone who has done GC in one day by care please comment on your trip.

    I did Grand Canyon from Vegas in one day a number of years ago -- but I took a plane! That's back when they still allowed the planes to fly into the canyon.

    I detect you might be skeptical of how good a plan it is to drive there and back the same day, and I would agree with your skepticism.
